To be fair, he didn't have the ideal linemates, Farabee was not ready for prime time and TK was in an awful funk, and is better suited to a speed center for open ice plays than working his way in position for a one timer - and that's why he often looks bad on the PP.

Someone like Lindblom would be a good fit, Hayes knows he'll be around the net after he digs out the puck and feeds it to Hayes. Farabee might be much better this year, he just struggled with the physical aspect of playoff hockey, needs more protein shakes.

True enough. Alot like my original comparison a combination of learning to trust his linemates and giving him linemates he can trust. I like the idea of having him work with lindblom and farabee again next year.

Granlund isn't a center

The 2015–16 season saw Granlund centre the Wild's second line with a variety of wingers due to Minnesota's struggle with injuries and line-shuffling. Near the end of the season, interim head coach John Torchetti placed him on the first line wing with fellow Finn Mikko Koivu, leading to a sudden uptick in points production, something Torchetti attributed to being released from the defensive duties often placed on centremen.

As a LH winger, he'd be superfluous for us.

That’s the 99.9%. The plebeians. The unwashed masses. The brainlets.

What about the 0.1%? The elites. The hockey intelligentsia.

This isn’t helping my OG craving.

The defining aspect of Konecny's 2019-20 was him becoming excellent at 5v5 without the Couturier crutch.

It was more TK going from below replacement level without Couts to 2nd line worthy without Couts, he's still much better with Couts, as is Voracek, Giroux, and practically any other Flyer winger.aA

I just want to know if any of the people trashing OG go to Taco Bell?
The analogy is fair but the difference is Taco Bell doesn't pretend to be something it's not. It knows it's fast food. It has an exclusive flavor of Mountain Dew for f***s sake. Olive Garden tries to be a actual italian restaurant, even down to the interior decor

Taco Bell actually tastes good. Olive Garden is ass.

Taco Bell is to Tex Mex what OG is to Italian.
Some people like it, but some people have no taste.

Though to be fair, the better parallel to OG are things like Qdoba's Mexican grill.

In Austin we had this horrid chain called Taco Cabana (pink exterior . . . ) in a town where Tex Mex is as ubiquitous as cheesesteak joints are in Philly - some people prefer artificial food to the real thing.

Ate there once, hugged the porcelain Goddess and accepted it was fitting punishment for heresy.
