How is the Cam and Strick podcast? I've been looking for some new ones ever since hockey central at noon went to shit.

I listen to a ton of hockey podcasts; Chiclets, Cam & Strick, Missing Curfew, Ray & Dregs; I could go on and on. I love Cam & Strick. Andy Strickland asks tough or controversial questions and Cam comes at from the enforcer perspective and fun guy in the room. The recent one with Deryk Engelland was really good - his wife jumped on and was entertaining.

He’s looked good. The hot scoring streak isn’t that unusual but he’s being much more aggressive and assertive and his all round game is currently the best it has ever been. If he keeps it up through the season he will be our no1 winger.

Retro Jersey....BLEH! I'm so done with the 70s and 80's. How about making something awesome?

Most all LA King jerseys (and most hockey jerseys are boring) are / have been BLEH-MEH to the 10th power. Retro! Stadium! All black and silver - no color! I actually somewhat liked the Palffy era, at least it had some interesting elements...but the lion with sunglasses? Look at cycle jerseys...always a little out there and some of them are awesome...some soccer jerseys are awesome. The Kings should use ROYALTY elements (CROWN) and COLOR. Look at some of these Canadian Cycle jerseys...a maple leaf used in interesting ways....I mean, a leaf is pretty blah and boring, but they made it look cool, by the way they used it...so, use a CROWN like that...the entire bottom of a King jersey is a crown? and blends in. Why not? Could say Kings or Los Angeles in it too. Would love something cutting edge cool and DIFFERENT. I LOVE the hoodie...I could see the Crown as the entire bottom half. The crown could have some details in it, too....but not like the old one, with tons of details and jewels in it.

Agreed, him and Fagemo should be in the AHL.

Only reason he should be in the press box , is they no longer see him as long term asset?

It's less about the major on its own and more about the other stuff in totality.

And frankly we play these assholes several more times, these are exactly the games in which I'd like these guys to send some sort of message that they aren't going to roll over.

We think LA is going to be stacked up the middle, this could push Akil Thomas down to 4C at Ontario and hes been one of the best in pre season

As long as the OHL is on hiatus they’re allowed to play in the AHL. Once the OHL starts up again, they’ll be back there. So for their sakes hopefully the OHL doesn’t start up this season.

He can play wing, but says himself center is the position he’s most comfortable with. That said he’s quite happy to play wherever he’s needed. He’s such a smart player he can also play D.
