As long as the OHL is on hiatus they’re allowed to play in the AHL. Once the OHL starts up again, they’ll be back there. So for their sakes hopefully the OHL doesn’t start up this season.

Excited for the possibility that byfield and kaliyev may be fighting for the Calder cup instead of dominating juniors. It feels like everything has come our way in terms of cap space in a pandemic, and prospect heavy in an expansion year.

Agreed, him and Fagemo should be in the AHL.

Only reason he should be in the press box , is they no longer see him as long term asset?

I don't know how, but I completely forgot about Fagemo. The taxi squad should not be where prospects go to collect dust

Frk and Turcotte are skating. Byfield allegedly also close. Walker will be out for a bit I would imagine so he can heal. Hopefully nothing broken except his nose. Roy posted on his Instagram he was doing okay, so unless he has a concussion he may not miss any time. AA and Lizotte are out on C-19 protocol. That likely means some time.

Defensive liability, terrible teammate (has been suspended for abuse of officials, was suspended for racial slurs at his own teammate in juniors, etc).

More off-ice issues/allegations that I'll avoid so as not to violate board rules.

Edit: don't think "why not grab him?" Think "why is a defenseman who scored 53 points last year available for free?"

“hate” feels strong for a goalie mask artist

forum blue often looks much bluer in photos/TV than in IRL. I’m sure the mask’s actual color matches the jersey.

frk immediately practicing with the top line is interesting, though that 4th line seems like a bit of a black hole. rather see vilardi and andersson swap wingers

I think your giving Maatta a bad rap. Yes he didnt work out with Drew I think with less minutes he would do better. He deserves a shot with less mins imo
