Though if you added someone like Tonka to retrieve and play in front of the net and let Vilardi QB from a “point” position/wandering spot, it might work.

Vilardi's faceoff statistics are really skewed because of his two-wins-thirteen-losses game against St. Louis. If you take out that one game, his faceoff win percentage is 52%.

I mean that d group ain't gonna win you many games. Walker and Roy being out for an "extended period" is gonna suck.
 
Mayor said Frk will be good to go against Vegas not Ducks.

I don’t get those middle two lines. Why keep Brown and Grunstrom together and Carter and Wagner. Two gritty wingers and two speedy wingers. They need to swap Brown and Carter or Grunny and Wagner.
 
Kempe wasn't in practice but may play against the Ducks and Luff and Frk are still technically on IR.

The lines are confusing but shouldn't be considered "game lines" yet.

With both Walker and Roy out long term I think we might need to make a move for a D man.

Assuming Kempe was just taking a sick day, I'd like to see these lines:

Kempe - Kopitar - Carter
Iafallo - Vilardi - Frk
Grundstrom - Andersson - Brown
Wagner - Lizotte - Moore

Bjornfot - Doughty
Anderson - Clague
Maatta - MacDermid

Our defense is just going to suck for a while, there's no way to absorb losing two of your top four options when our third pair was barely NHL-caliber as it was.

I mean, whatever :P I am very excited to see Kaliyev's debut should he play, at least. I have a curiosity to see him one day play with Kopitar to see if they could find any chemistry setting up the laser, but that will probably take a while to see... Also, depending on if it is a good day or not for Brown that third line could be interesting.

I mayyyyyyyy be reading way too much into this BUT Bjornfot was an Alternate Captain for the Reign in both preseason games that were streamed to the public and Wroblewski talked about their leadership group having younger players in it.

They may be waiting to fully cook Bjornfot in the AHL before bringing him to the NHL as a fully realized version of himself.... OR maybe I'm inventing story lines out of coincidence.

Frk might not be ready to play against the Ducks, most probably ready for the Vegas series. Maybe Arty gets the call for Tuesday.
Lizotte? Has he been cleared.

Whoa whoa whoa, are we really going to see the ARTY PARTY!!! I'm taking Tuesday off from work and get myself hyped for his debut. Not that I'm expecting him to tear it up but just the fact that we get to see him in the NHL. Excited for the kid if true.
