Defense in our own zone is questionable enough at times, don’t want DeAngelo to make that even more of a circus. Not even to mention the character issues.

Don’t need to experience another Randy Jones era.

Hilarious argument for ADA.

Rangers have been trying to trade him. NO TAKERS. Now they're waiving him. Which means a team wasn't willing to trade a 7th rounder to have him on the roster.

The only reason a team would "trade" for him now would be if the Rangers included a pick/prospect, or a **** contract went the other way, and the acquiring team can buy him out (once he clears).

He has been bad news since juniors.

It just photographed that way. It does match pretty good. what I don't like is the matte finish. A glossy coat would really make the colors pop. This seem to be a trend right now that masks designers are doing, using flat colors.
 
People are actually clamoring for someone who pretends to be a fan on a Twitter burner account? The guy is the laughing stock of the league.

The only successful team we've ever had was built on character over skill.

Any interest in Bennett?
he no shows in the regular season but he is usually the first person to step up to defend teammates, and has a great competitive edge to his game without being dirty.
He costs over $2m and has arb rights, also would delay having a young guy in the lineup. Also he wants to play center and I am not sure who he replaces (Lizotte)

I wonder if Wagner would be enough. Wagner is a local kid and we all know the pros and cons to his game. Calgary could use wingers.
 
Without issues Deangelo wouldn't be on waivers. He is a perfect fit for us age wise and skill wise. Altercation was do to racist slurs against Miller. We haveByfield the highest ever black drafted player coming in. Can't have Deangelo using the N word his way as a welcome...

If this was a one off then I would definitely be interested in LA picking him but there is too much history there. Also there is a reason Kreider sided with the Goalie not DeAngelo.
 
But points! This ain't NHL 21 on your XBOX. Have you ever had that co-worker who was productive but an absolute drain on the entire department? Guess who gets fired?

Me, because we don't have players like him and Bennett is still only 24 years old, so agewise he fits well. But I don't belive, that we have assets to trade Bennett. Flames don't need picks and in my mind Wagner is not enough. Most likely they will trade him to East - Carolina could use some toughness/edge.

Ya I agree Wagner is not enough, just do not know who would be. I guess from my view I would like Bennett but I do not think the two teams are a good fit for a deal
 
I'd definitely be interested in Bennett but I heard he wants to play center. We really don't need a center after this season. He most likely would be picked up by Seattle, so I wouldn't put much into a trade for him. But damn...
