I listen to Buffalo sports talk radio because I'm a Bills fan. I end up hearing a lot of Sabres coverage because of it.
They were pretty perplexed as to why Kahun wasn't qualified. They thought he was a good player and couldn't understand why he wouldn't be re-signed. They were kind of pissed about it.

Names kicked around this morning at forward for the Kings include Kahun and Hinostroza. Probably will add a goalie with NHL experience that will clear waivers for ONT, and a RHD same scenario.

Could be one of those situations where the old GM valued him more than the new guy and he simply did not fit into his vision going forward.

Supposedly, Clifford turned down $1.5 X 3 years from the leafs. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him look for a contract that comes closer to $6M total value.
