So many of these proposals are mind numbingly stupid.
Think these were proposed by fans. I remember seeing something about them asking for trade ideas.

wow when did eklund start writing for them ?I’ll give you a taste of the dumbest one of all.
Quinton Byfield and a 2022 third-round pick to Detroit for Anthony Mantha and Luke Glendening.
The article serves as a reminder to Kings fans: crack is whack.

I just read that after i posted I ment the comment as more tongue and cheek humorAs WHOneedsSOX pointed out above, they gave Kings fans a platform to embarrass themselves with ridiculously stupid trade proposals.
Jagr and Iginla.I'm drawing a total blank on this.

I say no to the entire article. What a wreck.

that neckbeard know we could have had him for free.....
Carter can be bought out with a cap hit of $4 mm next year and $666,000 in 22-23. I suspect that is what will happen.

hes only got 1 year left on his contract. doesnt save them much next year.Carter can be bought out with a cap hit of $4 mm next year and $666,000 in 22-23. I suspect that is what will happen.
The only reason to do it would be if they wanted the extra contract slothes only got 1 year left on his contract. doesnt save them much next year.
The fact that none of our rookies have displaced Carter may be more of a worry than anything right now. Saying that I still think our rookies are year out from contributing on any level.
If Blake does anything this off-season it should be getting a number two defenseman to play with Doughty and to contribute on the power-play.
it will be costly but we already have the prospect capital, we have a ton of early pics in the next draft, and the way the season is heading we will have another top 10 pack.
For next year our goaltending situation should be settled with Peterson playing 70% of the games. The kid does look awesome and just think what he would do with a proper defense. Quick still has what it takes to be a backup and he would gain the most from a Defence upgrade.
Looking through our system we have all kind of prospects and all kind of future upgrades come in throughout the organization other than an elite defenseman and possibly a future number one goalie. I am not concerned about the goaltending at this moment but the defense has to be addressed now.
Honestly AA, Clague, Lizotte, Luff, Wagner, and Iaffalo, are pretty much it for trade bait.
Vets are not leaving.
Can’t see LA adding a significant piece.
Jagr and Iginla.
Iginla as far as a 1st, Jagr got a conditional 2nd (became a 1st) at 41, and a 2nd & 3rd at 43.

Highly doubt it. They don't need to buy him out.Carter can be bought out with a cap hit of $4 mm next year and $666,000 in 22-23. I suspect that is what will happen.
