He’s a mess
Buy low kind of guy  How much of that is him sucking and how much of that is Buffalo being Buffalo? Every game I watch of him, it makes me think more and more that he wants out. The dude is currently riding a 15 game losing streak.

imagine we could've had cernak for $3M

Out of curiosity, what players are similar to Regehr, Mitchell, and Greene that we could potentially trade for? Saying we should get a guy like that is great; who is out there like that?
i think Savard in columbus is one. Not sure what it would take to get him thou

Today I learned Matt Greene is a true top-4 D.

Yeah I don't think he ever was. Not after 2012 at least.

Scuderi - Doughty
Mitchell - Voynov
Martinez - Greene

Greene wasn't even really a top four guy before that, with Doughty, Johnson, Scuderi, and Mitchell.

So maybe 08-09?

O'Donnell - Doughty
Quincey - Johnson
Harrold - Greene

Not really even... I don't know.

I've said it before, but I think K'Andre Miller makes some sense for the Kings.

21 y.o.
6'4"
207lbs
Left Shot
22nd OA pick in 2018

He's big but a great skater. Lots of upside.

Rangers need a center prospect, Kings need a left defenseman.

I admit I don't watch the Rangers very often, so I don't know how he's looked, but he certainly fits the criteria the Kings are looking for.

Rasmus Kupari one for one and I'm there. If Turcotte, Vilardi, or Byfield or involved, no thank you.

The thing that makes me nervous about trading for a young Dman, is that it's so hard to gauge what they're going to be.

Miller could turn out to be Seth Jones, or he could be Brayden McNabb, or Jay Bouwmeester. He has the same measurables.

If we wanted K'Andre Miller we would've drafted him instead of Kupari
That means nothing really.

That's like saying if the Kings wanted Carl Grundstrom they wouldn't have drafted Kale Clague.

Your circumstances, needs, or player evaluations can change over time. Or god forbid you could actually want both.

Unless it’s overpayment, they will not move him. He’s fast tracked his development and by all accounts he is highly valued within the organization.

as Lemieux has 7 days quarantine requirement....the Luff's and Wagner's will be battling it out, not to be Amadiosed.
although, Lizotte should be in the mix, center or not.

Why does Lemieux need a quarantine? He’s not crossing borders with the trade.

Yeah, that's the whole point though. If you want a player capable of becoming a top defensemen you have to give up a lot.

Just like from the Rangers perspective: they need a young player capable of becoming a top center so they have to give up a lot.

No one is going to give us a discount on a top rated young up and coming LHD. It would be a Jones for Johansen type deal; high value for high value.

He's looked great, so much so they'd have very very little interest in dealing him. As in... yes if the C prospect was Byfield (obviously a no from LA) and a "maybe" if the C prospect was Turcotte. A definite "no" to any other C prospect.

Whether that makes sense for LA or not is a different question.

They don't really exist in the NHL anymore tbh.

The closest would be Chiarot, Dillion, Mayfield, Cernak, and Zadorov.

Tampa Bay has two big Dmen that I would love.

it may sound funny but I would give any of our prospects for Sergachev. Big, mean, young, offensive left shot Dman groomed properly and climbing the minute train.

the other guy we gave away for nothing
