Several Wild fans thought it was a fair deal (not that it actually means anything obviously). The Wild also have pick 24 or 25, which could be substituted. I guess it would depend on how Guerin values Vilardi.

Great value for Arvidsson, big time play driver. Taking advantage of expansion draft/flat cap era is exactly what Blake should be doing.

I know it's not exactly the same given the difference in the pick positions, but doesn't this essentially end up being Carter for Arvidsson? I call that a win given how Carter was playing here.

+1 for Blake. I'm hoping he isn't done calling the other teams with expansion issues. We've got plenty of assets to add another solid top 9 contributor without impacting our pipeline.
