CAN’s coach is going to put the most experienced forwards out there to play it safe.

He hasn't been much of a factor in either game since his explosion. Can't blame his lack of ice time, his lines have routinely been Canada's least effective.

They weren’t, but really outside the Cousins line nobody produced? I mean Suzuki/Zary were the ones “promoted”. Those two haven’t produced anything all tournament..but oh well. I actually do think Byfield could be a great asset on a short bench killing a game off as a winger. Has the size to grind on both sides, interrupt passing lanes, and another center incase the main one is booted.

ARTY PARTY!!!

All alone in front of the net. ;)

Still scratching my head as to why Cold Caufield is still on that 1st unit powerplay? Dude has been awful this whole tournament.

Is Turcotte injured? He has not been deployed for a while now
He was on the last shift of the first PK, then two shifts later they drew a penalty and scored on the first unit. SInce Zegras and Kaliyev were on the ice, they rolled the 2nd and 3rd lines before taking another penalty where Turcotte also skated.

The special teams segments interrupted the flow for about 6 or 7 minutes, but he didn't miss any shifts.

No, but those lines were still cycling and getting the puck to the net. Byfield's line wasn't even doing that. There was a lot of aimless play during his shifts.

With the way QB was getting physically abused in the previous game, then a non-factor tonight, the thing I come away thinking is man, he sure plays "younger" than the rest of the team. And he is, so no harm in that.
