I'm a Wings fan and because Seider was completely fine afterwards, I'm pretty unfazed by the hit. Seider admitted in the post game interview that he was intentionally trying to get in Dach's head and get him off his game. Dach's hit was in retaliation to Seider hitting him for most of the game.

Seider's fine, there's no point in getting upset about that hit. And it doesn't take away that Dach had a pretty solid game tonight. Seider did as well.
So what youre saying here is: ”no one got hurt this time, so its ok to act as Dach did”. Basically. Thats a pretty sad way of looking at things. I really hope you dont teach minor league hockey and stuff.

These games mean absolutely nothing. I remember well the year Vesey set the Rangers record for goals in this tournament, and Buchnevich was near invisible. A few months later, Vesey was over his head in NHL games, and Buchnevich had a good season. Boo Nieves was another star with Vesey on that team, and still can barely get any games for our NHL team. After watching that tournament and seeing how the season played out, it's hard for me to put much into these games. The Rangers could lose every game by 4 goals, and there would be no good reason to change our #1 rank among the best prospect pools in the league.
And dont forget the Oilers HOPE campaign - “Pääjärvi scored a hattrick - hes gonna be a God!!!!!”

Watching Leafs v Blackhawks.

Boqvist looks exceptional. Very impressive. Haven't noticed Dach all that much but from what I've read, he looked very good yesterday.

For the Leafs, Brazeau has 2 goals today after looking not so great yesterday. Robertson is very impressive. Surprised he slipped to the 2nd round.

Boqvist had a shift in the 2nd where he pinched very aggressively (and rightly so) followed by neither pinching hard nor backing off only to lose a 50/50 puck with his feet not moving and give up an uncontested breakaway(that got muffed.)

He’s had nice moments, but if you’re looking for progress from last year’s tourney, not really seeing it beyond him directing forward back checking traffic and little confidence maneuvers.

I love that the Hawks are running a PP where the puck handler is dealing from below the goal line and running everybody on their off hand.

I see Boqvist make a ton of cute plays and is quite entertaining on the PP and in the offensive zone. Everywhere else my god this kid sucks. Thankfully he's still very young. Has a long way to go to a complete game though.

Nope. I'm just saying I don't care about the hit.

I used to write that 75’ in he was the most dangerous prospect in hockey, but that went for the other end as well.

Now? No longer as dangerous in either end, but still looks to fly the zone like a forward and that won’t fly at the next level even as a forward.

Not really true about him sucking everywhere else. His D has been fine.

I will say that is is not a good PK player.

Getting better and better, but he is trying to do too much.

He is clearly dominant in terms of skill level, but as a winger you must be a little patient and let the puck come to you.

may need time in the AHL to work on aspects of his game or learn on the fly at the nhl level?
