Kickers in football and PIM in hockey are my biggest annoyances in fantasy sports. Take kickers out and add IDP's. I know IDP's are for more dedicated players, but it's much more entertaining when you pretty much have players constantly accruing points.

IDP is infinitely better and more fun than D/ST

In other news Trading Tyreek Hill, David Montgomery and Calvin Ridley for Saquon and Landry in the preseason of a HF league is looking great for the first 3 weeks at least

Yeah, I got rid of kickers for the HF Sharks league this year, and I got rid of PIMs two seasons ago for the HF Sharks league.

I don't really like IDPs in general, but I have them for two of my leagues that I run (both dynasties).

Are any Watkins owners trying to sell high given his injury history? I was thinking of offering him for someone like Chris Godwin.

That seems like a lateral move at best. I am officially worried about Winston.

Just got a trade offer in my keeper league. I would acquire Mike Evans and a 6th round pick for Stefon Diggs, Dede Westbrook and a 3rd round pick.

I would then be keeping Mahomes, Zeke and Evans going forward.

Pull the trigger? No brainer, yes? I could care less about the pick. Draft schmaft.

In a limited keeper, I always try to do 2-for-1 trades, so I'd definitely do it. Like I said, I am really worried about Winston, though.

Down by 3 going into the second half, my Hopkins vs Duke Johnson in .5 ppr. Need Saints to get some TD's so Houston still throws it

Too easy for Nuk

Got a 2 part question. Thinking of trying to pick up one of Ross, McLaurin, or Marquise Brown. I’d probably drop one if Westbrook or Breida.

Question 1, which one of the latter two would be more expendable, or is that not a good idea? Foles injury has me worried about Westbrook.

Question 2, in what order would you rank the first 3 mentioned?

I'm not high on Ross or Brown. Brown had a low snap count and the Ravens won't play Miami every week. Brown will be good, but I don't think it'll be consistent this season. Ross won't see targets like that when Green is back. So, I guess McLaurin is my top guy of the group.

Breida will never carry a heavy load with his injury history, and Westbrook got overhyped in that preseason game against Miami.

I think it's a toss up that really won't impact your season.

Unless im mistaken, Brown's low snap count was due to being pulled out of the game because of a blow out. He has had an injury and was a late active

They didnt sit him cause he was playing too good

Still seemed way low.

My thing with Ravens offense is, they played Miami, Jackson didnt suddenly become Mahomes. I think Jackson will be great, but not like that. The main takeaway is to stream players playing against Miami this season.

With Hill out, I need to pick up a WR. I will note I had a solid group already, so this more of a bench type/maybe start.

Options

John Ross, Marquise Brown, Jamison Crowder

There's others available but these seem to be the best 3 to choose from.

Not a PPR league.

Ross is valuable till Green returns, Brown is probably boom/bust, if Crowder sees 10ish targets a game, then he'll have a safe floor and limited ceiling.

John Ross is the pick up.

I know it's hard to get behind, because Cincy and his history is spotty, but that offense looked revolutionized compared to the Marvin Lewis era. They reminded me so much of the Rams with the 3 WR sets and all the motion. Ross looked unreal and could have had another long TD if he didn't drop it. I may be overreacting to week 1 but this is the time to take chances in fantasy because there will never be as much value on the wire as there is right now.

Crowder isn't worth it if it's not PPR.

I wouldn't cut either, but I'd rank them in the order you have them.

10 points down with Lindsay and Denver D left to play. Thought I had the W all but locked up... Oh well

I was thinking him too, with Green out.

Just wondering what your thoughts on Brown? Exploded because of a pis poor Miami DEF?

I mean, it's not like he came out of nowhere. He was a first round pick. Miami's lack of defense was definitely a factor, but I like him this week against a Peterson-less Cardinals secondary.

I don't think he's a one trick pony deep threat.

Agreed. Brown and Jackson have another high upside game against Arizona. I think these 2 could be a dangerous combo as they develop and get better, we just shouldn't expect them to be Mahomes/Hill 2.0.

That being said, why was your opinion/pick Ross then?

Do I put a bid (FAAB, budget $100) in for Marquise Brown, John Ross, or Waller (and if so for how much)? I’d be dropping Trubisky.

Team

QB Wentz
RB Gurley, A Jones
WR Hopkins, Godwin
TE Howard
Bench Trubisky, Drake, Samuel, C. Davis, Njoku

Do not drop Brieda. Not sure I'd drop Westbrook either TBH.
You're not worried about Cousins only throwing it 20-25ish times a game? Or do you think he gets back to 35ish? It's a pretty shallow league, so if Diggs finishes with 80-800-8, then he ends up not even worth owning. I'm just concerned their new run first offense is going to kill Diggs and Thielen and only 1 will be worth starting on a week to week basis.

Guys I could put a waiver in for:

Diggs
Engram - No TE spot, so he'd be 1 of 2 flexes
Malcolm Brown
Gallup
McLaurin
DeSean Jackson

You're in a 2-flex? I'd have Engram as priority #1 over Diggs, regardless of TE/WR.

I'm in a 2-flex PPR league and I had a shameful week 1, so I have the top waiver claim. The usual suspects are there (Hollywood, John Ross, Malcom Brown, etc.), but so is TJ Hockenson. Am I crazy to use the claim on him? I feel he has a safer role then Hollywood (snaps/volatility) and Ross (AJ Green?). I don't care what position you play if you sit in my flex and collect me 20 points a week.

I don't think the Ravens will throw that much.

To be honest, I would wait to see what scraps are left over since that is such a small bench. I wouldn't burn any free agent money just yet.

Rookie tight ends tend to struggle a lot. I do think Hockenson will be really good eventually. The other two are primarily deep threats (although I think Brown can be more than just a deep threat). It depends on how much risk you want to take. I'd honestly go with Ross since the Bengals will be on the negative end of the game script most of the time, but I wouldn't blame you if you chose otherwise.

I know its that time of year again when I see rangerssharks414 in 29 different fantasy leagues

I was only planning on 8, but I got suckered into joining 2 more at the last minute... it's still down from 11 from last year.

Looking for a backup QB. These options are available on waivers in my league:

Kyler
Rivers
Stafford
Brissett

Rivers for sure
