Madden 3pts and 9 shots tonight...impressive
Like a lot of second round draft picks, particularly out of the Dub, Woo is going to need at least a couple of years in Utica. Only then, will you know what you really have.Jett Woo the next Tate Olson?
What similarities do you see in their games?Jett Woo the next Tate Olson?
Tyler Madden is a ppg player and is already half way to last season's goal total of 12 after only 10 games. And the Northeastern team he plays for is considerably weakened by the graduation of key players. Offensively, he's basically carrying his team on his back.Madden 3pts and 9 shots tonight...impressive

If Northeastern is eliminated early, I really hope Madden signs and gets some games with the Comets at the very least. And if the Canucks are a dead-team playing again in March, then I'd introduce him to the NHL for some 'show-me' games.
Love this player's offensive chops and compete level.
Interesting, I'd be curious to know if there's any correlation between that metric and future success in the NHL...Apparently Madden "Ranked second in fatigue index (14.0) during the Wingate Test at the 2018 NHL Combine" (team bio),
which suggests he can sustain his anaerobic work rate for longer than that of most of his peers. In other words, he basically
can play hockey slightly harder for longer than almost all of the guys he's up against. What we see is that he's got a ton of energy
out there. No wonder he's got the jam left to do those insane cellies

So it looks like the statistician for maine screwed up when he submitted the score.
Matt Thiessen has a GAA of 25.56 in one start
so regardless of how he plays from now on that stat will be all out of wack
25 goals against average LOL
Podkolzin has looked pretty great tbh. Focht and Woo have been very quiet from what I’ve seen.Is anyone watching the WHL/Russia game, with thoughts on Focht, Woo, and Podkolzin? (Focht is 9/10 on faceoffs after two periods, I believe.)
I don't think it was a mistake lol - he let in 3 goals in 7 minutes of ice time and was pulled (and hasn't played since). That would be a 25GAA across a full 60 minute game.
Thanks for doing these but let me know if your gonna be away again so i can help with the sum ups or assign it to someone else SCBeen away, missed a few games:

It looks like Focht is missing from the Calgary line-up tonight.
The thing is that Woo was tracking really well in his D+1 year but has taken a step back this year.Like a lot of second round draft picks, particularly out of the Dub, Woo is going to need at least a couple of years in Utica. Only then, will you know what you really have.
