By the time Robertson and Jones potentially turn pro, the guys we have now will have given us a pretty clear indication of whether or not they will be pieces of the future.

I think people are lumping in the 18 year olds with the 21/22 years olds and I don’t see them occupying a ton of the same space in the organization.

I guess what I’m saying is that if things go right, the Rangers will be in a tough cap spot sometime in the future. That’s what happens when your team is good. The better you can backfill with ELCs the better off you are.

Maybe you don’t re-sign Rykov (random choice) for several million as a 26 year old, but move him for someone else because Robertson is ready to go.

Yup, we'll know about Hajek/Lindgren/Rykov/Reunnanen/ They'll either be fixtures or traded as pieces for playoff runs.

I don't group K. Miller with them because of his upside and expected turning pro date.

Pronman said that teams weren't high on Dorofeyev and had concerns about his effort and skating.

Time to start picking the guys who understand the game, are the hardest to play against/PITAS, skate well and have discipline/work ethic
