Ugh, hate to see that. Looked innocent but his head hit squarely into the boards causing compression to the neck/spine. I hope in the future the equipment is revolutionized, especially the helmets.

He didn't get hit from behind? Looks like the guy just lost his footing and Seider went over him and head first into the boards. Extremely unlucky play but thank god he isn't hurt seriously, that looked really bad. Not sure what the linemans was doing trying to move him at first?

Maybe the boards can be on 'wheels' a bit in the sense that when heavy force is applied to them they'll be able to shift with the momentum a little bit to help to absorb some of the impact. This can be all the difference in a play like the above. Kind of like earthquake-proofing sky scrapers.

Can anyone PM a link with a quality feed please?

Excellent, I can step off the ledge now as the Devils will be back to drafting Hughes

The game in general is pretty dull. Danes are protecting the ice in front of their net well so there's not much excitement of pucks getting to the net. Kakko had a nice move on the power play to get a puck by the side of the net and spin to the front for a stuff in try that trickled wide

Solid first for Kakko. Finns with a lot of shots but nothing i’d call high danger aside from Kakkos spin move in front of the crease.

I've only been watching his highlights for a week or so and he seems to like, and be pretty successful as well, with that side of the net and get it in front type of play. He recognizes when there are bodies and teammates available in front, as opposed to the 'never a bad idea to get it on net' (see:Nash Muffins) mantra I hate.

Fins give up a kind of bad goal, poor job clearing their crease

Kakko did a nice job gaining the zone and drawing two defenders to him before dishing back to a teammate...who got his shot blocked. Danes are blocking a lot of Finland's shots and the fins haven't found a way to get inside very often

Man, again, it's weird to be hoping that NJ doesn't select him and leave the Rangers "settling" for Hughes

I agree. I really hope they don’t. Before the tournament started I think they were going with Hughes 100%, now with this tournament before the draft I am wondering if they are second guessing themselves.
