Unreal probably another season where the Patriots will be gift wrapped another division. Should be an easy 6-0 or 5-1 at the worst.

Shurmur is an absolute disgrace. Also, the Rangers at least better be competitive this year. I can't take this **** anymore.

I have no idea why anyone thought hiring Shurmur was a good idea. He had pretty much failed miserably everywhere he was

I mean, he was the head coach for two seasons with the worst franchise in sports. He was a good OC everywhere else. He made the Vikings look like a great offense in 2017.

The playcalling regarding Saquon was terrible but that's not why we lost this game. The defense is a complete debacle.

That said they should be 1-1 barring a miracle next week. I think Buffalo winning today actually helps the Giants because they’re probably primed for a letdown now. Buffalo is actually favored by 2.5, I’m gonna be all over that one

Well I said it was must game vs Bills or else the season was pretty much toast as far as any shot at being in playoff mix considering the brutal schedule coming up. home vs Browns, @ Patsies, BYE, @ Eagles, @ Philly, home vs Cowboys, home vs Patsies and @ Jaguars. Well the season now is pretty much all about Sam taking it to the next level. If today was any indication of how this offensive line is going to perform, Darnold won't be taking any next steps this year and will be lucky if he doesn't get injured and out for the season.

That's why this Bills game was so essential and the loss devastating because it's conceivable that by the time the "easy" part of the schedule starts when Jets go to Miami in week 8, the Jets very easily could be 2-5 if not worse. In fact Vegas is likely going to have us as dogs in every one of these next 7 games. As bad as Baker and the Browns looked today and they were abominable and alot worse than we were, they'll likely be a slight favorite when we play them next Monday nite.

Basically we are f***ed. I felt that if we could somehow come out of this tough stretch at 3-4, maybe just maybe we could be in the playoff mix. Well that's not happening. Fortunately tho there is some very nice talent here and the future is still bright seeing once Joe Douglass has a full offseason of preparing for a draft, UFA and addressing the many holes Mccagnan left him, I have no doubt that there will be some good times in the near future.

It sucks but these type of tough to take losses are going to continue to happen until Douglass can fix the OLine and the secondary both units which are just abysmal. Hopefully Darnold doesn't get killed in the meantime and maybe we can pull out a few high scoring upsets down the line and finish the year around the .500 mark which is what my expectation was before today.

Unfortunately these are the cards we the fans of this teams have been dealt most of them by the previous regime and so I've accepted it and I'm not going to get bent out of shape about it as much as I would have if Mike Mac and Bowles and Jermemy Bates was were still in charge.

We'll win some games but most will be in the 2nd half of the year tho I'd not be shocked if we could pull off an upset or two of maybe the Pats or a Cowboy team at home. We'll also lose some games we think we should win. We are looking at around a .500 season and if that happens, I'll be more than fine with that. Next year is when I'll be expecting and anticipating playoffs.

I guess I'm a greedy bastard. I love hockey as much as the next guy. It would be so refreshing tho if the gods could throw us long suffering Ranger,Knick,Jets and Mets fans a bone once in awhile and allow all 4 of those teams to be viable at the very same time.

This scenario is not as far fetched as one can imagine. Had the Mets continued their strong play and if they were lets say 1-2 games out instead of 6 games out. Had the Jets won today instead of choking it away in the 4th quarter. The thought that hockey season is right around the corner with all these nice new shiny toys Gorton got for us, it would have made this fall one to remember.

Instead, it's...can't wait for hockey season to start seeing football for the most is over after the first game...Mets are done and so we move on.

Pretty amazing that the Cowboys only scored 35 points.

Someone like the Chiefs would have scored 70 against this defense.

I don't see how they can't improve to some degree.

I’m sorry to hear that man, wtf happened today?

Tbh i’m not surprised at all that the Titans won, they’re like stacked outside of QB, but they absolutely **** on them.
Acquiring my favorite receiver ever was what finally pushed me back. :)

Watching that game, it was really all about the penalties. They incurred more in 3 quarters than they had in any full game in more than 20 years. Despite that, they were still in it into the 4th quarter, but then playing from behind and continuing to shoot themselves in the foot caught up with them. Mayfield had like 10 straight completions, but then one sailed on him slightly, got picked, and the wheels fell off.

The Cowboys very clearly took their foot off the gas. Likely a smart move with another game to play against us. Why bother blowing us out and embarrassing us when they can put up that score and just ease into an easy win? You save the animosity that way as well.

You would think that having only one winning season in the last 6 years would have produced some decent draft picks, wow it doesn't get much worse that the debacle we witnessed yesterday. We are probably looking at another 2-3 years before sunshine peaks through the clouds and that will depend on evaluating talent correctly. Good luck with that.
