Every single offseason the jets pr machine goes to 3rd base with whoever the Jets QB is, promising something special and guess what happens? Nothing.
I was hopeful but I will be wholly unsurprised if Darnold never blooms.
He sucked. Loss is on him. Missing wide open guys downfield, he was solely responsible for leaving at least 14 points out there. No scrambling.No adjustment when guys kept knocking his throws down. Where was his audible that caught the bills off guard? Daniel Jones had more pinpoint accuracy downfield. Lamar Jackson is going deep with reckless abandon. Mahomes in his second year turned the cheat codes on. Josh goddamn Allen was pushing away grown men, avoiding pressure and bringing his team back from down 16. With the game on the line Darnold missed guys high and threw pathetic 5 yard check downs.
Just absolutely sucks. Darnold's deep ball is pathetic right now, it's been worrying me for over a year.
Have to PRAY that this was just a woeful offensive line performance due to lack of chemistry and that things will get better if Darnold has more than no time to throw.
I have to say bc if I dont then some jackass will point it out thinking lke they're making a good point (even though it's so obvious that it shouldn't need to be said). Josh Allen wasn't good either.In fact 99% of the time the Bills lose bc of him specifically. Aren't we Jets fans so lucky to be the 1%? Allen made the plays he needed to in order to win.
