Don’t worry TSN. He’ll be re-evaluated as day-to-day, very soon.

This season feels like a bit of a nightmare.

Avs toys with being first in the West, yet injuries are piling up so we never quite make the top of the list.

MacKinnon toys with winning the Hart but goes into a slump and then when he busts out of it he gets injured.

Makar toys with winning the Calder goes into a slump and then gets injured.

Then there's guys who were having solid seasons getting injured. You have to be lucky with injuries to win a championship, and it just feels like we're not that lucky this year.

If you listen to Gabe at the end of him talking to the media he does say “idk, I haven’t seen the guy but I’m sure it’s fine”.

it could very well be it’s just a canned answer but he didn’t seem overly worried. You’d think the captain would know if it was someone pretty serious.
For the Avs "fine" is the day to day which turns to week to week etc...

Didn’t Nate leave a game at the beginning of the season and it was for precautionary reasons? Let’s hope this is the same!

I want to be optimistic on this but its hard considering Cale was at morning practice in Detroit and was said to be D2D and now has missed what 6 games? Yamamoto was D2D and missed 2 games. Oilers played 2 games in 3 nights. That's a real D2D.

I can't remember which game it was but do remember the Avs had a comfortable lead in it. This is was different... a not insurmountable 2 goal deficit with a valuable 2 points on the line. Don't think he was being held out for precautionary reasons here.

Bednar this morning said it wasn't a specific play that injured MacK. He was feeling it a little bit in the first, tried to play through it and then decided to shut it down. He'll be re-evaluate today but they're hoping it's not serious.

Also, sounds like some of the injured players will start taking contact tomorrow morning and we should start seeing them back in the lineup this week.
