Yes, very embarrassing for the defending players. In fact, one of the worst defensive plays I have seen on this level for a long time.

This is one point we agree upon. The TSN guys never did pick up on it as they were trying to sell the awesome save, but I was pretty sure that was over the line. Glad he miraculously found the hole with the second shot so we didn't have to go to video review. Can you imagine if they botched the review like in the Canada/Finland game?

Kind of looks like overcoaching players to block shots gone wrong. If everyone's throwing themselves in front of the shot but the guy doesn't shoot and skates around them then it's going to make the defenders look like a bunch of dumbasses

This is awesome. Watching it made me miss playing. One year in provincial finals we lost our first game 6-1(2 game total goal series). We came back and won game 2 6 or 7-0. This reminds me of how our dressing room was after.

Woll was fine. He saved plenty of nice chances by SVK.

I thought the USA lines were a mess. It seemed like kids played with different linemates every shift.

Fox played well. Casey was Casey. Hughes tried to help on O but abandoned his D and caused issues. The US was just off by an inch constantly and it was really frustrating.

POG to Tkachuk and the Slovak G... both were well deserved.
