I am open to moving anybody, including Weber and Price, but I know MB won't so I stopped making proposals involving them.
No one should be an untouchable if the right trade or player is being offered.

It depends what we are offered. He is UFA in two years and Julien does not seem like a fan so I don't expect him given a fair chance to develop his game here. That being said if we do trade him it would require to fill a need.
Any player should be up for grabs if they could help us get a top center and that includes Drouin, Weber, Carey and our 3rd overall pick. But no team is going to trade you a young #1 center for them.
And if you're not getting a potential top line caliber center back for Galchenyuk then there is no value in dealing him in a lateral move as we'd also be bad on the wings now.
There is no guaranteed top #1C in this draft. So I disagree about trading any roster player. Patch or Petry, yes. No way I would trade Weber for Kotkaniemi. Maybe 12 months after the draft once you see what he does at age 18 or 19 But it would be a package deal. They are no MacKinnon
Id do it 25 times because theyll use Galchenyuk at C and then Bergevin will look like a ******.
eloel. Didn't this dude have a former scout on his show pumping Kotkaniemi's tires not too long ago?Jc lajoie callin for Veleno at 11... "best center available", "Ti gars dchez nous".
Non.
I dont know, Chainey (sp?) Was with him and he didnt give any opinion on anyone.eloel. Didn't this dude have a former scout on his show pumping Kotkaniemi's tires not too long ago?
Huh. Might've been someone else. I know he usually has Brunet come on, he ain't bad.I dont know, Chainey (sp?) Was with him and he didnt give any opinion on anyone.
Young #1 center, as in not just from the draft. There is no guaranteed top #1C in this draft. So I disagree about trading any roster player. Patch or Petry, yes. Tkachuk would look great on Pittsburgh, Tampa and other great offensive teamaI liked the trade and I knew we were giving up a really good defenseman. I still like Drouin in our lineup and how he would fit if we address the holes in our lineup. Not saying I take Tkachuk over Zadina, but I really do think Tkachuk would fit well with Drouin
You've been a consistent fan of the guy for the whole year, to the point where you're really selling me on the idea of getting him with one of our mid-round picks. Our WHL dman all had decent to very good 17-18 so we might be on to something there. If we do end up picking him I'll think of you for sure !
Tkachuk is perfect for Edmonton IMO. Its great for tickets, its great for McD/Drai, and adresses a really important need for them.Tkachuk would look great on Pittsburgh, Tampa and other great offensive teama
They need dmen in the absolute worst way possibleTkachuk is perfect for Edmonton IMO. Its great for tickets, its great for McD/Drai, and adresses a really important need for them.
Id be doing cart wheels with the 6th pick, even the 7th with Dobson.
No cart wheels league :I'm pretty sure Bettman won't permit it. He'll have you escorted out of the draft hall.
Agreed, but they really need wingers to compete, like right now. Tkachuk is a perfect candidate for them. They need dmen in the absolute worst way possible
You can lick opposing players though. That's always an option. No cart wheels league :
Short of getting a 1C, he is without a doubt my favorite going in the 2019 draft. Insanely dynamic.
Actually think he could make the transition to C, he already controls the ice like one and is a force along the boards.
I've never heard someone say those two must go together. One doesn't have to be a center to control the ice and drive play. That's a misconception.

No they do not, I think most people are quite aware of that. I.E. Kucherov. One doesn't have to be a center to control the ice and drive play. That's a misconception.
Yeah, Turcotte >>>>> Zadina3rd overall 2019 would have been some much better than 3rd overall this year. Hopefully, we can get another high pick next year.
