2018 NHL Entry Draft Thread (Less then 24 Hours Edition)

  • Xenforo Cloud is doing server maintenance Thurdsay 13th at 9 AM GMT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. The hate for Bergy will be at an all time high but Mister Man if we can accumulate high first round picks for Pacioretty, maybe even Price and roll these with our own top 5 picks from this year and next, and add that on to the talent we already have, we could potentially be an up and coming force.

There are so many ifs in your sentence I don't have enough fingers to count them all.
 
Can you imagine the Habs actually F*** this up and pass on Zadina?? Hahaha... even expect the unexpected is just beyond that happening.

I would take the top D over Zadina, any day of the week.

I've actually watched him live several times.

There's something to be said for not just his skill, but his consistency.

Playing as well as he did in the playoffs - three tough and physical series - allows for better evaluation than any Under-18 tourney can.

He's way undervalued on this board.

The draft will bear it out, too.

Everytime I've seen him it screamed Plekanec to me.

Very solid skills, great defensively, great skater and hands. Poor offensive upside.

At his peek he will be a 20G 40A center. Maybe one season above 70 if put with good players.

I don't see game breaking talent like Kotkaniemi.

I have Hayton and Dellandrea very close. I know center are a premium so that may skew his view from a GM view.

We can go without the if's and stand pat, then we'll certainly know nothing will change........every team next year is going with the "If we draft Hughes"...year after..."If we draft Lafreniere"...........there's no we will's
