Corey Pronman's list is very spicy.
Bokk at 8
Alexeyev at 54
Dobson, Bouchard, Smith all late teens/early 20s.
Merkley at 10
Ishakov at 17
Der-Arguchintsev at 26
Marchenko at 19

The full list is behind paywall, so I don't think I'd be allowed to post the whole list...

Lol, he's going full hot take.

He says he has no issues with Bokk’s game except for his “low” production. Thinks he will explode next year.

He also has Kotkaniemi at 4

Even if you were going off pure talent and not including the rest of what makes a hockey player.. how does Bokk end up higher than Iskhakov?

Bokk in the top 15 is upside fishing, plain and simple. He's a fairly big dude with excellent 1 on 1 ability (he makes pros miss regularly), but all in all he's just not earned that high of a ranking. Below PPG after the top 10 bottom 10 split, didn't make anything happen despite playing with Pettersson of all people after his initial SHL bumrush.

He'll either be a hit you'll never hear the end of, or an egregious miss that you'll never hear about.

I read in his prospect thread on the main boards that he had like a 1.6 on-ice SH% in the SHL, not sure if true

About Pronman's ranking, Der-Arguchintsev in the first is smart. I just purchased a Peterborough game. Holy f*** is this guy ever good. Getting some more games after this. He's actually fun to watch.

I would love to get him with a late 2nd. Great numbers for the youngest player of the draft.

f*** I wish it were easier to watch CHL games.

Well we're at it, do you know where to catch SuperElit games? Whenever I went to watch Brynas this year, Boqvist wasn't playing and it was a bummer.

For whatever reason, I couldn't find his SHL page to verify that stat. I feel like if it's true, he earned that shooting percentage.

In the few games I saw SDA, he was on the third line with Gogolev, but they were pretty much the only ones doing anything. He's got a pretty complete skillset on offense. It's too bad they don't track all the stats, because I'd be curious what's his p/60 5 on 5. My impression is it's very high for this class.

I also really like Gogolev

Gogolev also seems quite talented, but I'm just completely blown away by Semyon. He is so shifty and smart.

Pronman has Kotkaniemi 4th. I’m almost convinced he’s going to get picked by the Habs. Too desperate for a centre. Think about it, a realistic/optimistic outlook (production-wise) for Zadina is Pacioretty (35 goal scorer). We can’t even trade Max for a 2nd line centre despite being a PKer, a captain and having a cheap contract.

In other words, if both Zadina and Kotkaniemi reach their potential, you won’t be able to acquire Kotkaniemi by trading Zadina, even if he has the potential to be better. Just looking at it as a Bergevin logic of “assets”.

Timmins said the word ''assets'' several times during the last post draft interview. I've been thinking for some time that we'll end up drafting either Dobson or Kotkaniemi.

That is so disingenuous. You're describing MaxPac from two or three years ago, for whom we could have landed a top 6 center.

Now, your cheap contract is meaningless with only one year left, with him coming off a bad season and nearing 30 years old and looking for a payday -- those are the factors that are hurting his value, not the MaxPac you're referring to in your post, who doesn't exist anymore.

It’s not disingenuous. How many top line wingers have been traded for centres recently? Even three years ago I doubt you could trade Max for a good centre. You’re more likely to trade a top defender for one. Need for a need.
