Zadina clearly prefers handling the puck before letting go of his shot, he has not proven to be a big one-timer guy so far in his career.
Pretty well every goal he scores, if not a 1-timer, it's only on his stick for a second, max. Just enough time to get the puck and release it.I dare you to find me 3 goals where Zadina scores on a one timer.
So wait, I have to explain why I come to the conclusion that Zadina has proven more against older players when he was 2nd best scorer in an important tournament where players two years removed from their draft are usually the most dominant? It’s pretty much self-explanatory...
Zadina also plays against 18, 19 and 20 year old players in the Q. They both played well against older players, but I believe Zadina has shown more because of the WJC.
Lol I thought your comment about Zadina using 1 timers to score most of the time was crazy. I don't know who the Zadina you watched was but I think I've seen Zadina shoot like 3 OT. You must have gotten Wahlstrom and Zaadina mixed up.Pretty well every goal he scores, if not a 1-timer, it's only on his stick for a second, max. Just enough time to get the puck and release it.

Zadina & Kaut's stats from the 16-17 season. Kaut didn't do much worse than Zadina.

I must of just caught the wrong games, but I always saw Zadina creeping into the slot, gets the puck on his stick, and BOOM off his stick within a second.Lol I thought your comment about Zadina using 1 timers to score most of the time was crazy. I was just saying Kaut needs to get more recognition, wasn't really suggesting he was = to Zadina.I think Kaut will end up a very good player, but you can't just compare stats to look at which player has more potential/is more talented.
Lehkonen in his draft year had 14 goals and 30 pts in 45 games in SM-Liiga.
Laine in his draft year had 17 goals and 33 pts in 46 games in SM-Liiga.
Also, Lehkonen was 2nd in scoring on his team, Laine was 5th on his team.
Yeah, I think it just comes down to the limited viewings I've gotten, since CHL streams are not easy to find and I was on vacation for the majority of the WJC. It's far easier to watch players playing outside of North America, that I have to go more on limited viewings and can be more prone to getting a bad read on a player.No. I'm sorry but you are wrong. This is a great breakdown of how shifty Zadina is.
Brown: Why Filip Zadina is the draft's premier NHL-ready...
No chance Canes trade Necas. Absolutely no chance.Maybe we draft Zadina and get Necas in a Paccioretti trade? ... then move up and snap up Kaut!
Great. Hes solid as hell and dominates zone entries with his skating, its a thing of beauty. Still not as dominant as id like offensively. Hes not "game breaking".Anyone follow Dobson this series, how's he doing? I see he had the GWG and first star last night.

Hes similar to Hallander to be honest, a bit more skill to his game but less scoring touch and no thats not a joke/digKauts a pro style playmaking winger but I don't see huge upside. Solid player though.
