You guys are being far too kind when it’s clearly a case of a kid thinking he’s above playing in the A and acting like it.

he never looked this bad in traverse or the preseason. Now he can barely muster a shot on goal in 6 games? Stop. He’s a 3rd year pro. Treat him like one. I actually like how management is handling this. They aren’t babying him. This kid is a stud he needs to act like one

Dude take a chill pill my god....it’s his first season in North America as a 19 year old

You guys are way more upset than I am.

I won’t lose any sleep if he’s back in Siberia next week. It’s on him. I’m just calling it like it is. Babying him doesn’t do anything for him

Because, if you read the post I was initially replying to, he is European. Eliteprospects listed Lundmark as Canadian, Brendl as Czech. So I included Lundmark, but not Brendl. I always thought Lundmark was Swedish myself based off the name, but i haven't been watching hockey nearly that long.

I just said in my response to you that you went and included CHL players. I actually put in my post that remark as well.

I’m sorry but I’m not impressed with looking slightly better and actually worthy of the AHL when you’re considered one of the top prospects in the world and a KHL all star. That is flat out unacceptable. He should be doing what Chytil is doing down there.

I would sit him too. Until he shows he wants to act like a pro. He IS a pro hockey player. I’d honestly give him till the end of the month to start dominating. If not I’d seriously consider telling him to go home till February and come back when he’s mature enough to handle real pro hockey.

Dude relax.

I couldn’t be more relaxed.

Then stop saying completely stupid crap

Theres a difference between having criticism and having nothing but melodramatic overdone whining

if he were struggling at the NHL level that’s one thing. For him to struggle at the AHL with his talent is flat out on him. He’s way too good for that bull****. I would sit him too. Until he shows he wants to act like a pro. He IS a pro hockey player. He did not come out of juniors. He’s sulking and it’s unacceptable. Go be the best player on the ice like you should be. I’d honestly give him till the end of the month to start dominating. Not hanging in the A. Dominating the A. If not I’d seriously consider telling him to go home till February and come back when he’s mature enough to handle real pro hockey.

Relax.

What really happened? Did you see him and he wouldn't sign an autograph for you or something?

Right? I mean, I think that Kravtsov needs to grow up. I think a lot of us do. But this insane ranting on him is just silly. I have confidence the kid will develop. Now, I'll be pissed if he goes back to Russia, but that's not here, yet.

You know exactly who he is, AK. Why even waste your breath?
It's so obviously another alt of wenevergetagoodcoach or tradenashnow. Just report them and let the mods do their jobs. Anyone answering them and wasting everyone else's time is just giving them what they want.

For some people the AHL is better than the KHL. I disagree, but I have been part of that debate for too long.
I don't think anyone could disagree that the KHL is a superior league to the AHL, but it's worth discussing whether or not the AHL is more conducive to learning the specific aspects of the game in which Kravstov is deficient

Eh, we’ve been through this. My opinion: Top 4 teams in the K are better than anything in the A. The next 8-9 are about level but definitely not worse than the top 2/3 of the AHL. The bottom teams in the KHL are probably level or worse than the bottom of the AHL.

Has Traktor seriously only played twice since he has been back there? Crazy.

It's international break. There's no KHL hockey because of that. The Russian national team plays in the Karjala Cup, which started last night in Helsinki. At the same time, the u20 team plays in the u20 Four Nations. Last season, Kravtsov was eligible for the WJC and was part of the u20 team. This he isn't so he stays in Chelyabinsk. May as well have him play some games while the KHL has a break.

This is in essence no different from the situation last season where Lundkvist played a couple games with the J20 team in SuperElit (under 20 team) and played 4 games in 4 days. He didn't miss a single SHL game, and I don't expect Kravtsov to miss a KHL game. He will be back when Traktor plays again on Tuesday.

Chelmet plays today against Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk and Monday against Yermak Angarsk
