If the rumor of something happening was true I’d say it was Kravtsov’s agent or manager laying the ground work in case the return to KHL became more feasible.

Yeah, I don’t know what happened, but ‘follow the money’ is never a bad starting point.

Players normally have a European representative and a NA representative. I imagine his Euro agent get paid if he plays here and vice versa it he plays in NA.

I’ve often seen Euro agent stir things up in this regard. Who knows in this case, but doesn’t seem unlikely.

19 years old is basically the midst of a players prime. He’s been on North American soil for four whole months already, how hasn’t he gotten it yet?

If he hasn’t figured out how to quickly adapt to a foreign culture and play on a different sized rink in a new system and speak a new language by now, he never will!

From Ola’s posts in the Wolfpack thread, it seems Kravtsov is engaged and learning. He’s on a line with two guys, Belesky and OReagan who do not get him the puck back after he dishes it off and gets open. He’s also made mistakes trying to be too cute. Overall seems he needs to adjust to the NA game. AGAIN, this is according to what I’ve read. I haven’t seen the games myself.

this isn’t the NHL he’s struggling with. He’s barely surviving the AHL right now. That’s a joke for a kid as good as he is. He’s a KHL all star. To be playing in the A like he has is ridiculous. And he probably is the first one to tell you he knows it.
