He's been demoted twice since camp. Don't pretend it's not an issue.

It's not so much that we can't afford it, but more that we need to move forward now with the possibility in mind.

In particular, to me that means considering the possibility of giving Buchnevich a long term extension.

It’s extremely odd that there hasn’t been a uncle Larry piece about kravtsov. It’s perfect ny post clickbait — a top draft pick regressing/ off ice issues / banal speculation, etc.

He was mentioned in Brooks' latest summary, just a recap of the situation. I'm sure the Rangers would prefer radio silence on Kravtsov, and I get the feeling Brooks' silence speaks as much as anything else on the topic.

Yep. Kravtsov should've made Buch a trade-able asset. Kravtsov trending very negatively makes that a non-starter right now.

I understand that no prospect's development is a steady straight line, but most of what's occurred since the end of training camp is a bit disheartening.
