Traktor only 2 points out of a play-off spot by the way. It seems unlikely they trade Kravtsov as long as they are in the hunt by December

Exactly, they keep stating that even though they had a disastrous first 1/4 of the season the minimum to make the playoffs is still a goal for Traktor. They would actually need to figure out how survive without Kravtsov for almost a month when he joins the National Team for WJC in December / January.

And a lot of their struggles are caused by a lack of chemistry because of the huge turnover in players. They will get some kind of chemistry by then and I could definitely see them make the play offs.

Kravtsov with another assist (first today). Shot on goal from up close to goal mouth, got the rebound that he passed to Polygalov (I think) and Glinkin got the goal.

2:1 vs Barys in the middle of the 2nd period

Kravstov in there forcing turnovers on a 1 on 2 battle down low, then the hands

Beast

Can’t wait til he comes over

He's been great on forecheck the whole game so far.

edit: He's no Buchnevich. :naughty:

I'm a bit concerned that we might be over-hyping this prospect. Is he really that good? Is he, realistically, a potential 40-goal scorer? I've seen clips here and there, but I'm no expert, so I was hoping those who follow him more closely than I do could weigh in.

Thanks!:)

I have not seen 40-goal scorer as the target but he definitely has 1st line upside and his production in D+1 season so far is exactly in line with barely a handful of established NHLers that spend their post-draft year in the KHL (such as Kuznetsov and Tarasenko).

I don’t know about 40 goals, but I think he absolutely has 70+ point upside. I don’t think it would be crazy to say he has the highest upside out of any of our prospects right now

Unbelievable. Barys scores 2 with goalie pulled in about 10 seconds. 3:3 with 30 seconds til the end of regulation now. Traktor almost lost as time expired. OT now.

Thank you for your insight. A potential 70-point player with post-draft performance resembling those of two elite NHL players is certainly exciting!
