Two really nice plays... he's finally reaping the rewards after being snake bitten forever.

Can't wait till Andersson and him are staples on this team

I'd like to see some more finish/goals out of him but that's less a criticism and more a "I hope that part of his game comes along as he continues to progress"

Just clicked through to your twitter and then watched the pinned video. That's awesome. (I know i'm late to the game on this - ha)

I know it's been 6 weeks, but knowing more people are just finding out about it now, is great. It was by far my most thrilling hockey experience. I was so freaking nervous, but so was he, haha.

In 10 days, I am driving to Hodonin to watch him play with the U20 national team in the Four Nations tournament. I am planning on bringing the same sign, and find a spot behind the bench again

You were so taciturn in that interview. Like the opposite of how you are here. ;)

If you think hearing your voice on an audio recording is weird, try watching yourself on video. Jesus christ, it's awkward. All in all, I think I did alright. Even got to ask him some questions. I wish I had known beforehand, so I could have prepared.

The first assist today was awesome IMO. Wasn't primary but he was the complete catalyst on that goal taking on two guys in the corner then with tremendous vision passing the puck back to the open player after his first shot attempt

And that is how he plays all the time. He chases the puck and creates chances out of nothing. Now it is finally paying off.

Remember I posted that he leads his team in SOG, but his conversion rate so far this season is abysmal 5.5%. Normalize it as you wish but there's got to be another 3 goals at least right there.

Today Traktor also got help from Dinamo Minsk who beat Kunlun HC allowing Trakor to leapfrog them into 9 spot, just one point behind Neft for the last playoff spot. Both other team have a game in hand on Traktor.

Kravtsov has taken over for me as our best prospect (counting Chytil)
Much better than Buch at the same age and is comparable to Kuznetzov and Tarasenko at the same age, all while being more involved in his teams goals than Kuz and Tarasenko were.. and he’s 6’4. Wait til he puts on some weight, he’ll be dominant
Already his team’s most lethal offensive threat as well and he’s only 18
Also a known playoff performer which is nice to see

Unlike Buch, Kravtsov has a good motor and is not a liability in his own zone

Does not add up. Buchnevich was on a very similar production trajectory in his 20+ games in his D+1 year.

I think this anti-Buch sentiment is getting out of hand already.

Buchnevich had a great D+1 year, especially considering where he was drafted. The big difference to me between the two is that Buchnevich was finishing chances while Kravtsov is creating scoring chances. They are not comparable aside from the no of points so far after 20-ish games.

I take improv classes and they'd record the class show and share it with the class. Try watching yourself on video where you're trying to be funny.

Buchnevich was actually the prospect that got me into prospects and he’s in my top 3 favorite players. Not trying to shit on him but at the same age Kravtsov is clearly better disregarding points

Try being out somewhere having a drink when your face pops up on the television because you were serving in a spokesperson role.

The upside to the awkwardness is seeing the really confused look on the faces of others.

That I kind of agree. I don’t recall Buchnevich generating offensive chances with the same frequency but he was able to read the game just about at the same high IQ level as Kravtsov. He also was pretty capable on a defensive side, again maybe just at a slightly lower level.

I did a webinar at my work a few years ago that became a part of onboarding requirements for all new hires in the department. I forgot about it until just earlier this week I noticed my mug on a computer screen in one of cubes next to where I was standing and (as if it wasn’t awkward already) a kid in front of it going back and forth looking at my face and his screen.
