Tried the stream again and it’s working now :banghead:, but Miller had a chance on a delayed penalty where he pretty much did the Pionk goal from the other night (from the blue line in) but from the other side of the ice and the goalie just got his toe on it

Miller’s assist was on a 4 on 3 powerplay, for the play that ended up in a goal he just kind of passed it to his D partner who took a shot that was tipped, but even before that he was a contributing part of Wisconsin keeping possession and getting chances throughout the powerplay

A couple of years ago almost every team had interest in Dennis Cholowski. He was a skinny kid, but one that oozes hockey sense and elite skating ability.

The knock on Dennis was how slight or skinny he was. A year of hard training but low hockey out put at St. Cloud State did him wonders. Looks like a man now, and should finish on the all-rookie team this year... yes he's that good.

With K'Andre, you're getting great hockey output, but what intrigues me the most... is that frame of his... that "skinny teen" frame (he wasn't tiny in June)... that frame is going to be jacked up by season's end, and another summer with Prentice might mean that he could be physically ready as soon as next year.

To me he's on the verge of dominating games at the college level.

K’andre is the second best freshman dman in terms of shots on goal per game. Rathbone has also played 5 less games so that may go down for him.
Also Ik a lot of Ranger fans are dancing on Wahlstroms grave, but the goals are eventually going to come from him. I still think Kratsov could end up a lot better but Wahlstrom will eventually start doing much better

Well yea...he only has 2 points in 8 games so it's basically only up from there..

11 of those for Wahlstrom came in 1 game.

Take away that one game and hes still top 5 in the nation in terms of freshman shot on goal generation.
As for K’Andre those stats are extremly promising for a defensman, I assume Rathbones average will go down as he plays more games so they should be extremly close with one another. I mean Rathbone has only played half as many games as K’Andre so far

I still dont understand why we passed on Emilio Petterson, guy is a gem

Always hard to answer those questions and usually can’t come up with an answer that sounds any better than - liked someone better at the spot, or felt more comfortable with someone else at the spot.

Same reason why another team would pass on Joey Keane.

I feel like that’s a cop out answer, but it’s essentially what it comes down to.
