There's no such thing as "surefire" outside of Dahlin. Why? I’d do 10 and Zucc for a surefire 1D at the draft. I’m not that sure about Bouchard personally but if I were I’d be very open to that.
Imagine thinking this raises red flags...
I'm sure using Ernst & Young as the auditing group is a red flag too.
Now THAT is funny.
Fine. Club cancelled. Not disappointed, tho, never expected you to want to join.I expect plenty of things when I have good reason to. For example, I was relatively sure I was going to get the job I have now (which I love) for very little reason that gut instinct. If I hadn’t gotten it, I would’ve been disappointed.
I do not expect things I’m told I have an 81% chance of not getting. That’s pretty simple.

Correct.I could have sworn I read earlier this week that the lottery announcement is just an announcement and the lottery itself is conducted in front of the team reps.
Where did Karlsson & Tarasenko get picked?Good players will still be there. Great players will be gone by 4-5.
Probability is an illusion. What transpired was a consequence of the balls obeying the laws of physics, combined with the man who drew it's life being a series of deterministic electrical impulses up to that very point in time.
When you flip a coin, it's isn't a probabilistic outcome. It's a result of the force applied to the coin, with a direction, starting point, air resistance, and pattern of ground. If you recreated the physical factors exactly you would get the same result every time.
Well sure. Chaos theory rules all.
Actually why I’d prefer they didn’t use physical objects, but just computers.
Correct. Teams have two reps at the draft lottery. One in the room with the actual drawing, which happens ~45 minutes before it's announced on TV, and then one in the TV studio.I could have sworn I read earlier this week that the lottery announcement is just an announcement and the lottery itself is conducted in front of the team reps.
MacKenzie just asked a bunch of scouts and the consensus dropoff is supposed to be around 12-13. The Rangers are likely getting a high quality player.
Fair. Add him to the list.
All depends on cost and the player available.
I’d still like to come out of the first two rounds with at least five picks.
Off the top of my head, it really might be BouchardWho's the worst skater in the top 10?
That's our pick.
CoolOff the top of my head, it really might be Bouchard
Correct.
And I’m pretty certain the reason they don’t do it live is that they draw 1, then 2, then 3. So, it would screw up the presentation.
