Depends on what you're looking for. Both are way better than Archibald. But then, if you don't think it really matters (i.e. they'll lose anyway), Archibald is your guy.

Roussel is fun to watch, but he does have a habit of stirring poop up and then refusing to drop the gloves which usually leads to the other team taking a run at someone else on his team as retaliation.

Gudbranson and his glass wrist would be his only backup here lol.

I hope your prayers are answered. Can’t be any worse than what they’ve already done. Although by that same token, they’ve still managed to do better than VAN...? Given your adoration for all things Lindenning, would it be fair to project your team building techniques as akin to their practices? If so, I wouldn’t wish that upon any team.

A metaphor usually includes some form of a parallel. There’s no parallel between Malhotra and Beagle. It’s like saying Gaunce can spell Pettersson because he’ll take the Dzone starts. That’s a parallel of 4Cs. When you cite Malhotra, your referring to what was one of the best 3Cs in the game at the time. Sutter doesn’t even compare, let alone Beagle. So the premise of your post falls flat before it’s able to go anywhere.

Not liking the Beagle news. Would rather see Horvat/Gaudette/Sutter/Gaunce as the centre icemen to start. Then Horvat/Pettersson/Gaudette/Sutter mid season.

Love to see Roussel on the 3rd/4th line. Need a little snarly in the line-up.
 
Might as well sign Hansen for 3 years as well. Hell bring back Burrows too.

Canucks will ice a roster that looks like a 90's expansion roster and we get to watch it for another 3 or 4 years by the looks of it.

I don't know if I'd call them "way better". Better, yeah, but they definitely won't be worth anything close to the contracts they get in free agency. We'd be way better off with taking on cap dumps, signing someone cheap like Archibald, and/or letting prospects battle it out for any remaining spots.

Archibald is trash. Love to have him in Utica but he shouldn’t play another game in the NHL

If we keep blocking prospects from becoming NHL players they are going to start losing morale and will look elsewhere if an opportunity presents itself. Tryamkin was already with the big club and still complained about lack of ice time and opportunity. Goldobin will likely leave as well soon. You can only cook prospects on the farm for so long before they eventually burn.

Give our youngsters an opportunity to succeed! Play them!

They aren't being blocked that much, they only have to beat out names like Gaunce and Granlund.

And the Canucks are in a bidding war on Beagle. This number could get ugly, the agent is no doubt aware of Mr Aquilini's directive to get to the ceiling and he's playing hard to get with Trev and Jimbo. He knows they have to pay.
