Why couldn't we have just signed Archibald to a league minimum one year, one-way contract...
don't forget the term.....This team might be on the verge of committing 5 million+ to Roussel and Beagle.
That would be such a Benning move.
Guy carries culture with both hands though. Helps Guddy and Sutts.Roussel had 17 points lmao
Roussel is fun to watch, but he does have a habit of stirring poop up and then refusing to drop the gloves which usually leads to the other team taking a run at someone else on his team as retaliation.Depends on what you're looking for. Both are way better than Archibald. But then, if you don't think it really matters (i.e. they'll lost anyway), Archibald is your guy.
Roussel especially is entertaining.
Rather use that 5m and buy some shit player for 4 years and get some damn draft picks. This team might be on the verge of committing 5 million+ to Roussel and Beagle.

Malhotra is better than Beagle? Ya no **** captain obvious. It's called a metaphor. Maybe @Jyrki21 can explain to you how they work.
If you can't see we need to get stiffer to play against in our own zone, well can't say I'm surprised. Having read your philosophy for putting a team together over the years has me constantly praying Edmonton or Calgary will give you a chance one day.
Well let's hope that takes place during the 50% of the time Guddy is actually playing.Roussel is fun to watch, but he does have a habit of stirring poop up and then refusing to drop the gloves which usually leads to the other team taking a run at someone else on his team as retaliation.
Gudbranson and his glass wrist would be his only backup here lol.

I don't know if I'd call them "way better". Better, yeah, but they definitely won't be worth anything close to the contracts they get in free agency. We'd be way better off with taking on cap dumps, signing someone cheap like Archibald, and/or letting prospects battle it out for any remaining spots.Depends on what you're looking for. Both are way better than Archibald. But then, if you don't think it really matters (i.e. they'll lose anyway), Archibald is your guy.

Archibald is trash. Love to have him in Utica but he shouldn’t play another game in the NHLDepends on what you're looking for. Both are way better than Archibald. But then, if you don't think it really matters (i.e. they'll lose anyway), Archibald is your guy.

Interesting update from Dhaliwal on Beagle:
They aren't being blocked that much, they only have to beat out names like Gaunce and Granlund. What’s with all these Potential Canucks UFA rumours? Does management not understand there are limited roster spots?
If we keep blocking prospects from becoming NHL players they are going to start losing morale and will look elsewhere if an opportunity presents itself. Tryamkin was already with the big club and still complained about lack of ice time and opportunity. Goldobin will likely leave as well soon. You can only cook prospects on the farm for so long before they eventually burn.
Give our youngsters an opportunity to succeed! Play them!
AgreedI'm okay with Beagle for 2.5m for 2/3 years
I am NOT OKAY with dedicating 12 million dollars to Roussel

Our only hope is that the NHL rejects our offer because of the 8th year.
