Colorado's putting on a f***in Clinic skating circles around the Flames. Amazing to watch. Rantanen pretty much stick handling around the flames all night. Wish we had a guy like that.
We could if we have an opportunity to draft Pods.
Matt Nieto has more goals and points than Crosby and Stamkos combined . Let that sink in.
Blake won't take a risk on a player like that, no matter how good he is. I also don't see him falling that far . Hawks will draft him and take the risk.
Risk aversion from the LA Kings at the draft table!
It's worked out so well the last decade +.
i don't understand this post, the kings did draft Trevor Lewis and they won twice. At this point we need to take a 50% chance on a superstar rather than a 90% chance on a top nine tweener.
You can draft all the sure thing Trevor Lewises you want in the first round. Never gonna win anything.

They won because of Lewis?
They won because of Lewis?
Nieto is from Long Beach, CA. Let that sink in, if it hasn't after hearing it 100 times.Matt Nieto has more goals and points than Crosby and Stamkos combined . Let that sink in.
Yeah, every player that played was a part of it.They won because of Lewis?
And we all know where he's from.
The Avs are a strong offensive team, but Mike Smith looks absolutely horrible out there.

does any team win because of ONE player?
Not sure where this risk aversion thing is coming from, half the players people ***** about were drafted as projects, not 'safe' guys. Lewis was coming out of an untraditional league as a really high scorer but with Okposo glued to him. Forbort was a long-term project with high upside. Hickey was a swing. Schenn's "big game" mojo was questioned as he feasted on weak teams. People are just making **** up to be mad about at this point.
At least partially, I mean he started the play with the Stoll series winner with the Canucks...
but I guess we can pretend the bottom six doesn't matter irrespective of all the (inaccurate) complaining about it.
