probably poor timing to be asking this, but the NHL is always trying to find ways to increase offense. Why not allow hand passes? As long as players do not close their hands on the puck why not allow it?

It is BS that that goal was allowed to stand, but like Hull in the crease. Why not change the rule not the way it is reviewed?
Cause the NHL doesn't want players trying to use their hands to deflect pucks and getting stepped on by skates.

I just went over to the Sharks board. I don't even know what to say. People blaming the NHL for not offering the Sharks apologies when they were supposedly screwed over and now they are "tainting" the Sharks "historic" run. They feel like everyone is out to get them and the league is unified against them, which may be true but that happens when someone benefits from 3 of the worst calls in playoff history in successive series, no one would be out to get the Sharks if they had won in a legit way. Do they not expect people to be in their words "salty haters" with what has happened? They have probably jumped Vancouver for the worst fanbase in the league, it's going to be insufferable around here if they win.

It's no secret that the Sharks fanbase is bunch of babies and everything is always us against the world. I don't think the games are rigged at all but these huge favorable calls are tainting their playoff run. If they win they will be know as the team that was helped to win. It's just the way it is. The reffing has been shit for years, and the league has done nothing about and now it's blowing up in their face.

What's historic about their run?

The B’s were partly lucky that Bergeron has aged so well. He’s the same age as Richards, Phaneuf and Kesler and he was incredible this season. But they also didn’t commit long term big money to the wrong players. Hamilton is a useful player but for whatever reason he seems to have issues with teammates. The Lucic trade was highway robbery, to get that kind of value for a guy who is a negative asset 3-4 years later.

Being at Game 1 and 7 of that series will be memories never forgotten until I'm at a point that I'm forgetting all of my memories.

Game 7 is the top Kings moment in the Ducks rivalry. Smoked them in their building and it was Selanne's last game to top it off.

chased Gibson TOO, who was the greatest goalie in the world at the time !

It's one thing to get the calls and move on, it's another thing to have the f***ing chutzpah the Sharks fanbase on this site has regarding the calls, same with the team. Vlasic being a smartass about that icing call says it all. Why do you think we call your team out when they benefit from the worst call I've ever seen and then mock it? I think the Blues can beat them and I think the Bruins would crush them.

Foegele had 5 goals in the first 11 games of the playoffs. Finished the playoffs with those same 5 goals.

Niederreiter, 1 goal in 15 playoff games. 1st for F's on the team in ES ice time, 4th in total ice time.

So the Islanders sweep the Lightning, they are swept the next series by the Canes, who are then swept the next series by the Bruins. Uhhh....I don't like where this is headed.

I really want the Blues to beat the Sharks, but if not, would love for the Bruins to stomp them.

Then tell them they can't even win the cup with the ref's help (I know it's not a conspiracy, but trolling them with that will be glorious for years to come).

The sharts are ruining the nhl. Every podcast for weeks have been about nothing but their cheesedong wins coming from embarrassing decisions by the nhl officiating crews.

The Blues need to stop talking about an old ass song and try to push the series to at least six long games. Boston has a solid shot here to prevent a team full of weasels from stealing a cup, but I’ll feel a lot better if the refs decide to suddenly start making up fake calls that cost SJ games. No one will shed a tear.

Listening to Hockey Central right now, they just brought up Boston and the word DYNASTY...WTF? 1 cup , and 6 years between final visits, not making past the 2nd round since. I mean, come on guys.

If an O6 team wins a cup, it's a dynasty. But really, they included the Pens win from 2009 in their "dynasty" after they won back to back despite being almost 10 years difference.

I feel like we have that group of people here at times.

Plus, can you think of a bigger case of fanbase blue balls than those folks?
