Not a charge, he was gliding once he's at the blueline, and he didn't jump into the hit. Clean hit by a very good defenseman.

Yeah, I would agree, that was one solid bodycheck that Krug laid on Thomas.

That's not really what the "distance traveled" part of the charging rule means. Its meant for players who are leaving their position or coming straight from the bench to target a hit. Krug is skating towards his position on the point, once he gets there he glides into the hit.

Zero problem with the Krug hit. I remember reading something on twitter like "like he had any intention of playing the puck." Who cares? Checking is literally separating the guy from the puck, if your intention is to play the body, that's cool. Love Krug, that was killer, and props to Thomas for just taking it like a man.

^^ I remember that series like it was yesterday.

My old man (Leafs fan since 1957) was not happy with me during Game 1 so we ended watching the series separate. I went upstairs in the kitchen and he stayed downstairs in the basement.

Pretty incredible hockey being played. There are no Kings players this season that would be able to keep up in this game. Well, Doughty probably could I guess but that's it.
