  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. I like that 2nd line, don't know about the 1st line, 4th line has potential, I see the need to keep Thompson in, but will be interesting to see how JAD and REmpal work together.
 
Stevens: "Well, my system works, but the lines seem to be broken. Let's switch them up for the 3rd time this season. Let's see. Kovy and Iafallo are showing some chemistry....so let's split them up. Toffoli can't seem to score so let's move him up to Kopi's line. Move Carter back up from the 3rd line with Kovy, but we'll have Amadio center it. Let's put Kempe and Wagner together (not against it) and Stone Cold Stone Hands Lewis with them. Two of the promising young players will be stuck on the 4th line with Thompson, where I'll play them 30 seconds....if they washed my car".

Thank god Stevens has realized how much Pearson has sucked ass. Glad he's scratched.

Also find it funny that the one game Clifford is scratched is the game we go against Matt Martin, Leo Komarov, Cal Clutterbuck, Ross Johnston, and Casey Cizikas.

I can see it now..

-Rempal/JAD get 6 mins
-Martin runs our players, Wagner steps in at gets beat up.
-Amadio/Carter drag Kovalchuk down
-Fantenberg/Forbort -6 together
-Toffoli continues to float around while playing on the 1st line

Forbort has been pretty terrible away from Drew, but he's not played much with Fantenberg. Who knows, it's worth a shot. Hopefully the F's don't get an F like the M's have. The D's at least looked good together.

What's with the alliterative pairings on D lately, anyways? Glad the M's are broken up.

Wow, Stevens seriously is out of his league. What the heck is he doing? The one line that was productive gets slip up (Kopi-Iafallo-Kovy)? Genius! LaDue is one of the rare defenseman that can score, so let's sit him. And scratching Pearson? Yeah, he hasn't been that great, but almost the entire team sucks. Sit Thompson if you are sitting anyone. Why wasn't Wagner plugged into the lineup sooner? The guy was all over the ice and puck, and Clifford/Lewis/Thompson take his place.

Lol at Rempal doing anything to help this team. He will likely play 5 minutes, and be a non-factor. Serious desperation by the coach, and no logic behind these decisions.

The worst part is that Thompson is going to drag down Rempal and JAD and make it appear that they are not ready. I also don't understand why we Stevens continues to break apart any line that shows an inkling of chemistry. Pearson-Amadio-Toffolli, Carter-Kempe-Kovalchuk, JAD-Amadio-Carter, Iafallo-Kopi-Kovalchuk have all had glimpses of success before being broken apart almost immediately.
