It's going to be hard to not end up with one of Pettersson, Glass, or Mittelstadt

Lol i went to the Mcdavid draft and silently hoped everyone would pass on him lol

Either way the drafts are fun. Good reason to cheer for your team in the offseason.

I just think he's being overrated bc of size. Seems most likely to be the player who's numbers were over inflated bc he was so much bigger than everyone else. He should be a mid to late first rounder. Not a bad player just being overrated. All in my opinion of course, no expert here.

Ur a stats guy, why do you want Mittelstadt? His 5v5 production was pretty atrocious, 11 5v5 pts in 24 USHL games.

3 5v5 assists and a stellar 0.30 5v5 P/GP... He doesn't produce at all 5v5.

I don't have great track on these guys, but definitely prefer Mittlestad. Definitely rather get Suzuki over Glass and Vilardi. And Petersson is a bit of a hard read for me, super slick and poised, but he will his game transform?

I think Glass is a bit of a boring option. Master at coming in with that right shot in the right spot and put pucks into an open net. Not saying he wouldn't be the BPA, but I think Mittlestad has alarmed potential. Pat Kane light. Suzuki is also more elite offensively. Petersson can become a Zetterberg/Datsyuk II or more of a bust.

Erik Bransstrom has great potential.

Liljegren can become a really goood RD.

I like Makar too. Very skilled.

Vilardi? Not a big fan. Don't love his skating. Rasmussen? Would hate to get him even at 21. Mittlestad and Foote at 21 and I would be one happy man.

Makes sense if they can get their guy. If they think Patrick or Hirshir fall to 3, that's probably worth it.

Maaaan. Not sure I'd do that. I think you get a lot more value out of picking at 7 and 21 in this draft than JUST at 3.
