I thinking if Jersey takes Makar(some rumor about that earlier) Things heat up around 3

If Jersey goes Makar and thinks he is the second coming of EK65 then if the NYR can somehow move to 3, Nico or Nolan will be in blue before this night ends.

The Makar hype does make this feel like a "top three" draft. I'm another one who wasn't paying any attention before we traded with the Yotes, so yeah. Just watching the show I guess.

And honestly, I wouldn't be that disgusted bc Vegas has the assets. If NYR keep both I will be happy too. Would've liked to package one of those picks for a player though. If Zib and Hayes or one or the other goes down this year Bern's dream of Nieves becoming a #1 C may not be that far off.

I didn't care about this draft until this afternoon

He's a first round talent, top 15 for sure, but hyped up a bit. He's got big size, shot speed, but lacks game breaking ability, IMO.
