Ur a stats guy, why do you want Mittelstadt? His 5v5 production was pretty atrocious, 11 5v5 pts in 24 USHL games.

3 5v5 assists and a stellar 0.30 5v5 P/GP... He doesn't produce at all 5v5.

He is such a skilled hockey player. And that mega baby face indicates that there is room to develop.

On the forwards with size, watch the track record for PFs in the drafts of the last 5 years. It's horrendous. Go after speed and skill up front.

Can't get an elite player at 7? They will get a really good player at that pick and still have #21.

I just think he's being overrated bc of size. Seems most likely to be the player who's numbers were over inflated bc he was so much bigger than everyone else. He should be a mid to late first rounder. Not a bad player just being overrated. All in my opinion of course, no expert here.

Now I'm worried that Gorton is just jealous of NJD and PHI. It's fun to think that the Rangers might be adding Hischier and/or Patrick but I'd prefer two picks without knowing what the larger overall plan is.

I could go Pettersson or Glass, but I still want them to move to get Rasmussen and his size if he is available around 9/10 ish

unclear about his #s inflated or not/overestimated or not, his size is real.
If he does not have enough mobility, avoid till very late

However, if he has adequate mobility and the size is a given, grab.
Move up to get him around 10

Please don't, this would be very bad.
