I've been saying for awhile... if we make the colossal mistake of not addressing our D at #8, then I hope it's because we took Glass...

He seems like the perfect pick for vegas. You get to stash him for two years getting stronger and bigger. Meanwhile you get more high picks and by year 4 you have the Russian and Glass as developed centers and probably one more high end forward taken in the draft.

Honestly Vegas has the chance to be one of the best situated expansion team in years.

I feel it less and less.... Jusso and Brannstrom are such good fits for our needs... I would take either one over Vilardi, Mittelstadt, Glass... It's not that I don't like those players. I LOVE Glass. Mittelstadt has as high a ceiling as anyone in this draft, and Vilardi seems about as safe a pick as you could make in this draft.

The defensemen are severly underrated in this draft. It's become pretty common the last few drafts.

I feel like there is a drop after 8 because I am not in the camp that doesn't like Tippett already. Great shot, speed and dangerous on the rush...which sounds like a guy to fill one of our most important needs to me...riding with Jack.

I like Glass a whole lot but I don't see him being the one to be left at 8. I'm interested to see which one (or two stuff happens at drafts) of the 8 I have on top is. It's probably Tippett because of the premium on Centers and D.

I know we need D but we need other stuff too. I don't believe the top 2 D will be there for us and I don't like the next tier enough to put them in the top 8. If a Reinhart/Hanifin deal could be done I'd even more happily draft Tippett.
