Brodzinski going down clears the way for Carter to come off of IR today if they so choose since the Kings are down to 12 forwards. LaDue could be insurance in case a D man is moved this weekend (Gravel could be on the block since he isn't playing and needs 12 more NHL games or the Kings will likely loose him as a Group VI UFA. A non-playoff team would likely benefit from playing him 12 games to see if he is a good fit and then will retain his rights as an RFA). Either way, you'll likely see a paper transaction by Monday for LaDue and Amadio to be sent down as they have to be on the AHL rosters on Monday to be eligible for the Calder Cup playoffs.
