Sweden should be strong. I think Canada and Sweden are the favourites. Russians will be in the mix as always, but their goaltending and defense are nowhere near what the Swedes and Canadians have.

kronwall has been awful. Why is it that swedish coaches like nostalgia as much? This is henrik tallinder v2.

Updated my team

Forwards
LW|C|RW
Steen|Backstrom|Forsberg|
Sedin|Sedin|Eriksson|
Landeskog|Wennberg*|Rakell|
Johansson|Zetterberg*|Silfverberg|
Hörnqvist
* Think Wennberg will play himself a spot. ;) If not, Z takes 3C and Backlund takes 4C.
* Yes Z on the 4th line.

Defenceman
LD|RD
Hedman|Strålman|
Lindholm*|Karlsson|
OEL|Hjalmarsson|
Kronwall....
* Lindholm is a perfect fit with Karlsson, also going to play with Hjalmarsson as one BP-DF Unit. Larsson is intresting to, sliding in with OEL and Hjalmarsson with Karlsson. Prefer Lindholm without a doubt. Then ofc there is Klingberg/Ekholm.

Goalies

Lundqvist|
Markström|

I really like this, ideally I'd make Karlsson a forward then add Klingberg. I mean he the best "forward" in the olympic finals

Sedin - Sedin - Loui
Forsberg - Bäckström - Steen
Landeskog - Söderberg - Zetterberg
Silfverberg - Backlund - Johansson
Zibanejad

Hedman - Strålman
Ekholm - Karlsson
OEL - Hjalmarsson
Kronwall (Should be Lindholm)

Lundqvist
Enroth
Markström (Should be Lehner)

Maybe it doesn't say much but:

Victor Hedman (D) Tampa Bay Lightning 5 0 1 1 0.20 8 -2

Niklas Kronwall (D) Detroit Red Wings 5 0 1 1 0.20 8 +3

Watching all the games, Hedman has been really good as usual and Kronwall has been ok but nothing more.

Why use the best breakout passer in the world as a forward? Madness if you ask me.

I've been leaning towards Lindholm over Klingberg these last few months and now I'm convinced Lindholm is the guy we need. Ekholm is also a fine option.

Agreed.

I dont trust Klingbergs defence. Lindholm or Ekholm over him for me too. Had Kronwall not been picked it would have been room for Klingberg too, but now we need level up the defense. Plenty of firepower from the back end even without Klingberg.

Leaning towards Ekholm right now because of his versatility and size. But can't go wrong with any of the options. We'll see if the first six stay intact, I have my doubts.

Yeah, that Kronwall selection is looking much worse now. Could've had two of Klingberg, Ekholm & Lindholm instead of just one.
