The only pairing that is a lock is Hedman - Strålman. I think Hjalmarsson would complement Karlsson greatly and Brodin for OEL.

We need right handed shots on the roster, especially since its played on the small ice. Hence Stralsy/Larsson got a big advantage over many left handed shots...

My standard line-up:

Sedin-Sedin-Steen
Hedman-Stralman

F Forsberg-Bäckström-Landeskog
Edler-Karlsson

Franzen-Zetterberg-Nyqvist
OEL-Kronwall

Hagelin-Kreuger-Silfverberg

Extra: Brodin, Klingberg, Zinbanejad, Berglund (?)

Really hard to leave Hjalmarsson of it of course. But I really do not only want one RH shot among the top 6D, hence Stralman is in... If anyone is hurt, which someone probably will be. (...), Hjalmarsson goes right into the lineup. I could live with Hjalmarsson over OEL and OEL outside the roster, but OEL sucked with Karlsson, can't play with Hedman and I am not leaving Kronwall of the roster in favor of Hammer.

Frasse is of course a huge question mark health wise, but he is back playing so I have him on for now. No doubt whatsoever that he is the best option if he just can stand on his skates when the tournament is played...

I think you can question Nyqvist, is he really good enough. But he has chemistry with the Detroit guys so why not.

Silfverberg is toe-to-toe with a few others. Hörnqvist and co. Can't say that I have a strong opinion either way on that position...

I like your roster and completely agree with Franzen being on it. I would however like to see Eriksson & Söderberg in there somewhere.

I like your roster and I completely agree on having Franzen on it, if healthy. I would however like to see Eriksson & Söderberg in there somewhere.

Thx! Loui can play for sure, Söderberg too maybe but not sure who he would beat out?

My little crazy line up:

Zetterberg-Bäckström-Nylander Jr
Brodin-Karlsson

Sedin-Sedin-Steen
Hedman-Klingberg

Franzen-Berglund-Nyquist
Hammer-Kronwall

Landeskog-Kreuger-Forsberg

I would really like to see that top unit in action!

Landeskog - Söderberg - Eriksson
Sedin - Sedin - Zetterberg
Forsberg - Bäckström - Lindberg
Steen - Backlund - Silfverberg
Zbad

Ekman Larsson - Grossmann (Hedman and Karlsson if PP + some ES )
Edler - Karlsson
Hjalmarsson - Hedman
Lindholm

As a Wings fan, arent you overrating Franzen a little? But we'll see how he'll do this season. Hopefully he impress.

Oh, he'll definitely impress.. For a 10 game stretch where he scores like 50% of his point totals for the season

Rip Fanzen :(

Well its not 100% that this is it for him. However I think it would be for the best that he retires. He have missed too many games, its hard to come back to form when you always get hurt. Im no doctor though, maybe his concussion symtoms go away eventually, I personally doubt it, but again im no doctor. What Im pretty sure of though, is that he's not worth to be considered for the Swedish national team in this stage of his career.

About this season: The games he played he looked decent all things considered.

Yeah, I just think when it comes back like this things don't look good at all.

To bad. An iconic Swedish hockey player IMO.

Chock team:

Alexander Steen - Henrik Zetterberg - Mika Zibanejad

Marcus Johansson - Nicklas Bäckström - Filip Forsberg

Gabriel Landeskog - Carl Söderberg - Jimmie Ericsson

Dick Axelsson - Patrik Berglund - Jakob Silfverberg

Mikael Backlund

Victor Hedman - Erik Karlsson

Oliver Ekman Larsson - Alexander Edler

Niklas Hjalmarsson - Carl Gunnarsson

Nicklas Grossmann

Robin Lehner / Henrik Lundqvist / Eddie Läck

This article is depressing pretty much assures Oduya a spo and I have no idea why he would even be close he shouldn't even be there if you were allowed to puck 10 defensemen.

Maybe to encourage players like (Johnny O), "Little" Ericsson, "Sticky" Helmer, Gunner, Grossmann, Staffan Kronwall, Popovic 64, Brahimi and Kleffa. Or to send a message to "fancy" players like Hedman, Nik Kronwall, Edler, Klinger and Oliva that Papa (Nic Lidstrom) is watching over you! Karlsson don't have a mail box. At the same time establishing another level of leadership.
