Just threw down $100 on the young guns to win it all at 16/1 odds. I feel like they'll be the most motivated, and can match anyone with speed and skill. They're not the favorite, but at 16/1 they seem like good value to me!

Yeah I really thought Saad would get an A. Just politically it looks better for the team if at least one guy with a letter plays for the States internationally.

Good choices. McDavid and Ekblad were obvious picks, I thought Jones/Couturier/Saad would be good candidates for the other 'A'.

The reality is, if these kids are going to shake up the hockey world they all will need to step up and be leaders in their own way. Can't wait to see them play, more pumped for this team than I am for Canada.

It's not just Chia running the team, and its not just Todd McLellan coaching.

Bowman (who knows Saad really well), Jon Cooper, Peter DeBoer, and Dave Tippett.

That is a well respected group running the team, I seriously doubt any bias was involved.

If Tippett is confident in McDavid then everyone should be.

Team North America is a stupid idea,if you are good enough like McDavid to play on Team Canada,regardless of age he should be on the best team....if you want to create fake teams have Team Canada 2 and Team USA 2,that would create big rivalry with the players who did not make Team Canada or Team USA,and at least they are all from the same country.

Nah the young vs vet thingy is really cool +when have we seen a team with this much speed? Try Never...Thing is, these ultra-talented kids could get pushed around. They're not in their prime yet. Ergo not as strong on the puck as they will be. It's got a bit, a bit, of that Miracle feel...only this is Miracle 2016...Miracle gone Hollywood on crank ( speed kills ) AND on steroids!

They're bonafide underdogs verses more experienced, more disciplined/tactically sound and more physical squads in their TOUGH Pool. Still, they got the potential, to blow those traditional hockey powers out of the water...

I caught the Scheifele-Eichel, Gaudreau-McDavid pairings at the end but couldn't tell the exact lines with all the line changes.
