Like go to any Toronto away game in the nhl except for maybe montreal and the stadium will be mostly blue and white.
Yeah, not so much.

Matthews got on this team at the end due to his strong performance at the World Championships this spring, that being said he deserved to be after that.
Why didnt Galchenyuk play this spring in the Worlds?
I'm sure Gally could of went if he wanted to, look at the team usa sent
No one thinks Matthews is better than Eichel right now except leafs fan
Galchenyuk has a much talent as Matthews
Not even close. If you made a poll based on who has more hockey talent it would be an absolute massacre in favour of Matthews. Arguing over who is better today is possible, but not who has more talent. If expect Matthews in his Draft +1 to put up similar, if not more points than Galchenyuk ever puts up in a single year.
Damn, I guess if hf poll says it then its true
Really in edmonton when Toronto or montreal comes to town the oilers may as well be playing away.Yeah, not so much.
I think its
1. Canada
2. USA/Russia/Sweden
5. North America
6. Finland
7. Europe
8. Czech Republic
This tournament is becoming such a joke. Galchenyuk played on the world championship roster for team usa and single handedly stole the silver medal in the shootout, had a 30 goal breakout season, scored more goals than any player in the nhl after the all star game whos name is not ovechkin, yet he cant crack this roster? Not saying that trocheck isnt good but cmon. I wouldve taken even jenner or huberdeau. Galchenyuk should have been on the roster to begin with
take drouin off that line instead of scheifele what did drouin score in league last year 10 points.
Canada
USA
Russia
Czech
Sweden
Finland
North America
Europe
Would have probably been better groups, and possibly better for ratings. I think Canada - Russia and USA - Russia would be very popular.

sportsnet in Canada I think tomorrow niteWill the pre tournament games be on TV?
This statement from you may have been more convincing from you if you weren't the one who made the poll in the first place. Obviously you care about HF's opinion on whether Matthews deserves to be there over Galchenyuk or Jenner or you wouldn't have made the poll in the first place. Now it just looks like you're lashing out because you didn't like the results.
Eichel, Gaudreau, Larkin and Gostisbehere could easily be in USA roster... This team robbed USA national team!
And Canada could've added the best player in the game to their roster. The North American team screwed both teams over!
Well first of all, the poll wasn't Galchenyuk vs Matthews, it was Galchenyuk + Jenner vs Drouin + Matthews. Drouin would win in a landslide against Jenner since he is the "sexier" pick.
Also, I create another thread the other day on who's the better Team Na player right now http://hfboards.mandatory.com/showthread.php?t=2122475
Everyone who posted had Galchenyuk top 7 and Matthews bottom 4
So it means Galchenyuk is the better player right?
And second of all, I put very little worth on who hf thinks is the better player or the most deserving one. The only thing that interests me are their arguments.
If you look at what people wrote on the poll thread, you would see that were not a lot of argument on why Matthews should be over Galchenyuk.
I put zero stock into what HF thinks about players. I do however put stock into what guys like Todd McClelland, Jon Cooper, Peter Debour, Dave Tippet, Jay Woodcroft, Peter Chiarelli and Stan Bowman think, and apparently they think Auston Matthews is better than Alex Galchenyuk.
How do you know they think Matthews is better? Maybe what they are thinking is that Matthews will sell a lot more than Galchenyuk? Since thats pretty much the point of this tournament.
Anyway I'm done talking on this.
