I still think it's hilarious Matthews made this team. Like he's going to be a great player but to put him out against the best players in the world ahead of experienced players like Jenner and Galchenyuk is just bizarre. But I get it. Matthews + Toronto = tickets.

He was put in the tournament before Toronto drafted, maybe that's why Finland added Laine.

Just watched the after practice scrum with McDavid... do they actually think they are the underdogs? The Czechs are underdogs. Team Europe are underdogs. Team NA? Many people have them as potential winners of the whole thing. Heck, even Team Russia with their questionable D are more underdogs than they are.
