Jeff Carter is a joke. I'm a Leaf fan and hate the Bruins. Marchand and many others >>>>> Carter. At least golden boy Nash isn't there yet.

Will we still be the favourites? Yes, but it doesn't mean we can just have someone who doesn't deserve to be there every single damn time.
 
this is probably extreme but if I'm Giroux I may just tell HC that I'm never representing the country again. Like how many times does this guy get overlooked for big tournaments yet he's one of the first ones to accept an invite when HC begs players to go over and spend 2 weeks of their off-season in the World Championships...another snub..wow.

Did you see Carter during the Olympics? The guy is an international monster.

Honestly, you people completely forget that they're trying to build a team to win. Some of the best hockey minds of the world are assembling a team that functions well in every facet of the game and will work with their system internationally.

Would not be surprised at all if Hall doesn't make the final cut either.

He's been playing like sh!t lately and can be a turn over machine. Not what Babcock is looking for when it comes to Team Canada.

They assembled a dominant WHC team with him last year. People are getting way too bent out of shape over the initial 16 man roster. There are numerous spots that remain open for a player of Giroux's caliber.

Vlasic is an obvious pick. I just hate how some players get in based on their reputation and not their play, Weber hasn't done **** in his career.
 
People are ridiculous with the Weber bashing. He was outstanding the last two Olympics. Tournament all star in 2010 and tied for the team lead in points in 2014, anchored the first paring both years. Give me a break with the hate.

Carter's one testicle plays better 200 ft hockey than Giroux.

I would pick Tavares over Giroux everytime.

Now as far as Carter and Getzlav, their concept of talent + size has worked for them the two last times they formed their teams.

Actually more surprised at no Petro than Subban. I think Subban is the better dman right now but Armstrong is constantly talking about how Petro is a top 5 dman in the league
