WADA said yesterday that some Meldonium in the bloodstream is fine! Its like a little bit of EPO, I guess!

Guys just wondering what your thoughts are on if Paigan has a chance to make the final roster?

As an Oilers fan would love to see him play on tv a few times.

After the shutout, is there any chance Shestyorkin makes the team?

Last time I asked, you guys said no chance. Maybe now that went from no chance to a small chance?

No chance. He's only there for the experience, like a lot of other young guys with potential that were called to camp. It will be Varlamov, Bobrovsky, and either Koshechkin/Sorokin.

How about Tryamkin? Every team needs shutdown defensemen and he seems like as good a choice as any.

Right now with Bobrovsky and Varlamov healthy and already on the roster there is basically no chance at all he can beat out Sorokin who was great again in the finals yesterday.

Wondering on Mironov's chances, obviously he was on the team last year.

Looks like he has the spot because he was left off the roster(with a few others) for the Eurochallenge games against Slovakia. Znarok is oviously testing the guys he still hasn't decided on while resting the ones who made an impression already.

Great, thank you for the info!

I can't understand why Plotnikov, Tikhonov and Bumistrov will be in the trining camp but Grigorenko won't.

I understand why, I just don't agree with that decision. Those guys Znarok knows, they played for him. Maybe he fears experiments as he has little room for failure at a WC at home. Still don't like his policies so far. We are desperatey thin at center. No reason to not give Grigorenko a chance.

Btw, the out of playoffs NHLers arrived at camp. Now we can wait and speculate on the additions after the first round. And the KHL playoffs are all but over. I'm getting popcorn for the annual Mozyakin debate.

Based on WADA press release today, Meldonium ban will not be enforced for the WC. They still don't know how long it stays in the system, so all previous suspensions may be lifted. Unfortunately, too late for the U18 kids.

WADA is a joke.
