Wow the Pens are one of those teams so excited about their ability to pass the puck to each other that they forget that you have to shoot it into the net.
 
Philly, start losing games please, Pitt can't do themselves any favours

At least Detroit lost, if Philly passes Pitt then maybe we can leave the Wings out of the playoffs

Its been funny on the main boards seeing them defend him, defend the trade, defend Rutherford (one of the worst GMs in hockey), etc.

Looks like the reality of 6.8M 6 years remaining and substraction of Kapanen, Harrington, and likely a 1st, for a lazy one-dimensional soft winger who's one strength he's only been pretty good but not great at over the past two seasons.. Is starting to sink in.

Yeah, that trade is definitely starting to tilt in our favor, especially if we get that Pittsburgh pick at the ~#15 slot.
Maybe we can revisit some of those HFboard polls that were made after the trade.

In fairness how many here were saying he'd get 40 goals playing with Sid on the Pen's? :sarcasm:

Same. If that first weren't contingent on then making the playoffs we could be cheering on two tanks. Unfortunately, we just have to hope that they'll get their heads out of their ***** and make the playoffs.

Honestly a team with Crosby and Malkin as its pivots shouldn't have this much trouble just even making the playoffs. What a poorly built team.

Last season it took Pittsburgh until their 82nd game of the season to clinch the 2nd Wild Card spot.
 
Apparently Parenteau is returning tomorrow, who goes down to the Marlies to make room, Hyman?
