I have no idea why Å ime isn't better rated in the world, especially given that there's a lack of WB's in the world, plus he can also play both sides pretty well.

Was hoping City would buy him. They need WB on both sides desperately.

Leicester's management don't seem to be happy with their current goaltending, because according to kicker they first asked Timo Horn (Cologne) to use his buy-out clause. He denied and after that they went after Zieler.
Sorry, can't find the link anymore. I will post it when I find it.

here's the link:

They need a 2nd goalie for sure, but Schmeichel had a great season so I'm not sure why he won't be starting next season.

Didn't say anything different. Given the money the EPL has, Zieler will make more money than he did at Hannover as a starter. Competition is not a bad thing.

TSG:
Hoffenheim have signed Kevin Vogt from Koln; and are hot for Empoli's portuguese LB, Mario Rui.

Having already secured Kramaric on a permanent deal & Hubner from FC Audi; Hoppenheim are rounding out a nice little team for Nagelsmann to work with...provided they do hold onto Sule. With Vogt joining Rudy, & Schwegler/Polanski as experienced options to pair with Amiri, Ochs, Biteco (and in the coming years Geiger/Beck/Bender), in midfield; Sule, Schar, Bicakcic, Hubner, & Gimber, for the back 3; and Kaderabek & Rui on the wings; that team would support the forwards well. And with Kramaric, Uth, Ochs, Vargas (and in the coming years Skenderovic/Y.Otto/D.Otto), they have goalscorers to finish those chances without impeding the club's passing game.

BMG:
Amongst everything else he's working on, Eberl's prepared to pay a club record fee to Chelsea to make Andreas Christensen's move permanent...if BMG doesn't stumble in the CL qualifiers...with the massive Xhaka fee, the money that had been budgeted for Hinteregger, the clubs transfer reserves, and this past season's CL profits; Eberl has a serious bit of coin to work with this summer. And if he's successful in these next few months; he could do a lot to solidify BMG as a CL team that plays very attractive football, with which they've challenged much bigger clubs in europe (giving both Juve & Citeh all they could handle for large stretches of those matches; and just picking Sevilla apart in the match under Schubert).

BVB:
I'm very curious to see what Watzke does even if Miki & Auba stay. Ziyech, Lerma, Mor, Zinchenko, Guerreiro & Zielinski, would be a very intriguing haul on top of Dembele, Merino & the moves that need to be made in defense. Seems a lot to expect from Watzke, especially with the specter of him doing stupid to bring in a big name that would sate Reus/Auba/Miki...although I guess he could bring in that star while solving the defense (say by getting Tah/Laporte + Glik/Toprak :naughty: ), or by getting Gotze instead of Ziyech.

Still if they really do sell everyone Tuchel's apparently said can be let go; then there will be a lot of work to be done & spots to fill.

Vrsaljko set to join Atletico, he didn't come to personal terms with Napoli

The way he's learned to defend since first breaking through gives me some hope that Danny da Costa & Dudziak may still amount to something. It's crazy how much better he is now against the ball.

Kicker is speculating that Junuzovic might be unhappy at Bremen (more with Viktor Skripnik) and is linked to West Ham or Southampton. Both EL teams.

Original source is Austrian paper "krone".

http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/.../artikel_wirbel-um-die-junuzovic-zukunft.html

I wonder if a Junuzovic departure would make it easier to pry Grillitsch out of Werder...as losing his veteran countryman on top of Oztunali & Vestegaard would be a lot of talent leaving Bremen, possibly pushing the younger austrian to move to a stronger club...or if it'll make Grillitsch more content to stay in Werder for a little while longer...since he'll be guaranteed his PT & a major role to continue developing in.

Marko Marin is in negotiations with Galatasaray.

At least he'll have fun partying with Poldi...Shame the OGM (Original German Messi) never had anything more than his dribbling to work with and so couldn't even scrape together a middling career; like Younes seems to be in the process of doing with Ajax.

Stoke are reportedly meeting with Witsel's people on Wednesday to try and work a deal out. They want it done before Euro's so if nothing happens then he most likely isn't going to Stoke.

I'd bet at least 3 of those 6 players won't come, and that it would have little to do with Watzke's stinginess. Ziyech and Lerma are sort of iffy rumors, Zielinski has been more strongly linked with Liverpool, and there has been no word on Zinchenko for a little while. Not like Guerreiro or Mor are locks either.

@DM
Oh I know it's unlikely they get all of those specific players, but if they are selling everyone TT said should go; then they're gunna need a big a** haul like that...even if it's not those exact players.

Wasn't there something recently that Zinchenko was still debating you & citeh? Not a sure deal, of course, but some eastern confirmation that rumors of Citeh's triumph where bull****?

@Vas
Could you tell me more about Lerma, cause I've been intrigued by what I've found online...haven't had time to sit down to watch a full match of his yet, but I did end up signing up for wyscout after searchif for some full matches of his. So I have no idea about his decision making/mind, but his touch & physical abilities seem like the kind TT can carve into a valuable rotational midfielder. Especially as a contrast to all of the small skilled midfielders they've got/are being linked to.

...plus I have a soft spot for Colombians...

If you trust Bild, Mkhi is apparently refusing to sign a contract renewal despite liking the money because BVB refuse to give him a Tuchel-only clause. Kill me now.

...at least if you sell Miki you'll probably be able to convince Auba to go to Real; which will leave you with all of the money for Watzke's replacement to buy all of the kids!...

Good thing Bild's history with BVB is...not the best...

How about they've sold enough stars this summer and just sell Auba to Real next summer for 80M? (Sport)bild were the first on the Dembele rumor. IDK. The rumor is probably being provided by Raiola, and why would he care to provide info to kicker instead of Bild?

Is my sarcasm-detector off? To pressure the club into including the Tuchel-clause and/or buyout clause...whichever it is that Watzke's refusing to do?

But he can use Bild just as much as kicker for that.

Anyway, I don't think Watzke wants to include any clause at all, even if it were a €100M clause. I don't know how I feel about it. It just seems like there's a lack of trust on all sides and it's kind of disappointing if they've agreed on money but can't agree on contractual control.

Have United made any moves ?

Not as of yet.

-Mourinho looking to sell off Mata for 26.5M To Arsenal, Chelsea or Barca (Shocker)

-James isn't inerested in signing with Man Utd.

-Rashford signed a new deal (10x less than Rooney's wage)

-Linked with a bid for Reece Oxford

-No new news on Lukaku

-Mou interested in re-uniting with Willian(okay) and Matic(ew)

Blind, Mata set to leave man utd this summer.

Means we will actually have a winger who is a winger and CB who is good enough to win the league.

To be fair though Blind was actually pretty good in most games and scored a screamer for utd against Liverpool. Just he isn't good enough for a team to win the league and challenge for UCL. I can see quite a few team interested in him.

Also Daily Mail saying Barca interested in Mata aka Mata isn't going to Barca lol. I doubt Wenger buys a 2x Mourinho reject and CAM isn't a position of need. I doubt Mata goes back to Chelsea just doesn't seem like a Conte type of player to me. I can see BVB, Napoli, or Sevilla being the main teams interested

He's a talented player worth a careful look but Dortmund and Sevilla would never spend close to £26M - if the figure quoted above is accurate - for a player in his career position and form.
