Maybe our top guys just have nothing left after years of pushing in the playoffs. They could be burned out, except the superhuman Carter.
So they're the Los Angeles Mike Richards'seses?

Honestly my biggest concern at this point is Sutter. When the entire roster is underperforming, that's not a player problem, that's a coaching problem imo.
However, I'm not so sure they are underperforming, they just, as tsanuri says, have a hard time putting it all together consistently. Budaj plays some great games? We have a hard time scoring. Start scoring like the best offense in the league? Have to outscore our problems. Injuries. Slumps. Our best players not being our best players.
This team is a sleeping giant in my view. Just depends on what we look like until Quick gets back, and what Quick looks like at that point. So many question marks. Just don't know if that giant will get a chance to wake up. But this is a darkhorse team.

do players get extra money for playing in the all star game? If so I think everyone should vote JMFJ...he could use the coin.

Winning squad splits 1 million bucks, about 90K or so each.

Brown said he's good to go tomorrow against NSH. As noted previously, expect McNabb back after the Christmas break. He's close, though.
Was hoping McNabb would get one game in before Christmas to help shake off any rust. Does the AHL take a break or can he be sent down for conditioning?

It would go straight to the IRS, which is probably better than his parents.

They play a defense first game, sacrificing offense for it and don't currently have the defense or goaltending to pull it off. Muzzin/Martinez wasn't working, so now you have one of Greene or Gilbert getting 15-17 mins. It's got to be depressing leaning on a D/Goal that isn't always there to support you.
